Nice hotel, great beach

This was our second trip to couples swept away and we enjoyed it overall. We did notice that on this stay some staff seemed to be looking for tips and this was not the situation on our first trip. Being an all inclusive resort, this was a little disappointing since we didn't want to have to worry about having cash constantly. The only other thing we were disappointed in was that being a return customer within the year we were given a letter and told we would receive a gift package for this and to sign up for romance rewards which we did. We called the front desk and provided the information required with three days left in our stay and we never received anything. Other than that, the room was excellent and always clean. The food and dining service was perfect. The beach was always beautiful and the resort excursions were fun. We really enjoyed our trip and would highly recommend this resort for their nice rooms, friendly staff, beautiful beaches, and excellent food.

Nice hotel

Beautiful place. Would definitely go back.. Wish there was more options for food. Only 1 day dedicated for real Jamaican cuisine. Bars on the beach close too early for me personally. I think they should stay open til 11pm at lease. Staff was amazing very friendly and respectful. Can't wait to go back

Excellent resort on 7 mile Beach

We had so much fun and relaxing at the same time. There is so much to do in this resort. We regret staying for just 4 days. You need at least 7 days to enjoy what this resort has to offer. We didn't even get a chance to venture outside the resort. The hotel staff were all so friendly, polite and always asking if you're okay and they are also so genuine which is so refreshing with great sense of humor. And the Beach, what can I say about the Beach. It's PERFECT!!! White sand Beach, crystal clear water, calm water with clean sandy bottom. The grounds of this resort is like a botanical garden. There is a sports complex on the other side of resort which is a short walk. They have lap pool, squash and racket ball court, weight room, ping pong and billiard table to name a few. This is the best vacation ever and we will definitely be back and will stay longer.

Great couples experience, best in Jamaica!

Pros: Definitely a tropical and romantic setting. Bed was comfortable and ac adequate. Free mini bar in room was nice.
Cons: Nice TVs but no HD. But not much time to watch TV anyway.
Location: Other than the Catamaran booze cruise (free), there is so much to do at this resort that its OK that there isn't much to do nearby.
After checking in at the Couples lounge at the airport, the travel by bus to the Couples Swept Away resort takes about 2 hours. Check in staff changed our room seamlessly after we found a couple small things wrong with original room (maintenance could've fixed but they did not want us to wait to start our vacation!). Beautiful beach with clean sand and clear water. So much to do we did not spend a dime on excursion trips! Men - bring a pair of slacks (no jeans) to eat at Feathers restaurant, it is worth it (get there 15 minutes early to enjoy the bar). The couples massage is definitely worth the three hundred US but bring cash for the tip when you go. Tennis, a true outdoor workout center with free weights, Yoga, sailing, snorkeling, Scuba diving, food, drinks all make this resort a great deal! Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper and the sound of crickets/tree frogs would keep you up...

Amazing Honeymoon

Pros: The beautiful beach and laid back environment as well as the awesome food
Cons: Only thing I could suggest is trying to keep the locals off of the beach around resort
Location: There are alot of things to do on the resort as far as water sports such as catamaran cruise, kayaking, snorkeling and much more.
This resort was amazing and we really enjoyed our stay here for our honeymoon. We can not wait to go back to Couples Swept Away. The food here is amazing and so many options to choose from, the drinks are great and the people who work here are very nice and make sure you have everything you need at all times. The beach is beautiful and they provide nice floats for every one which is great. The only down fall here is on the beach there are alot of locals who walk up and down the beach asking to sale you things, but if you just tell them no thank you they wont continue to bother you. Other then that this place is fantastic!!! Great place to stay!!!!

This was an amazing experience. My husband and I are extremely happy that we decided to go to Couples swept away for our honeymoon. The staff was always professional and courteous. The food was wonderful with nightly entertainment. All excursions are included which was a definite plus. I could go on and on about this place but to personally experience it is the only way to truely understand. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Perfect for Us

We went to Jamaica expecting relaxation, and that is exactly what we got. Booked a Premiere Beachfront Suite (the only real bonus here was that we had a wraparound porch on ground level on the beachfront, any room looked beautiful there), which was open and clean. Had an incident about 4 days in where the ceiling started pouring water onto the bed, but fortunately we were in the room and able to save our things. We were promptly moved rooms and they gave us a free couples massage! Minor tip: book the free amenities early (sit-down restaurants, glass-bottom boat tour, etc) because they fill up fast! The staff was friendly and everyone seemed to genuinely have the Jamaican carefree spirit. Nothing like seeing the guy picking up trash singing happily at the top of his lungs, just because.

Very Relaxing

Stayed with husband in August 2013. Resort was clean and beautifully landscaped. Stayed in a Garden veranda suite which was very close to the beach (some road noise, but not much). The room decor was pretty bland, could use some updating. Food was good, but I wished there was more authentic Jamaican food (oxtails, curry goat, etc.). The walk between restaurants is kind of long, but we didn't mind since it was along the beach. Entertainment was nice, but would love one night of energetic dance hall music. They should close the casino since I never saw anyone there are and many of the machines didn't work. The club was lack luster and the piano bar was a bore fest. Favorite part was the catamaran and the snorkeling. The trip to Times Square duty free mall was nice. The staff was very friendly and the drinks were yummy. We didn't have any problems with mosquitoes, just a few flies. The minibar was great, stocked with pretty much whatever you want. Security on the beach (which was beautiful) was tight. Compared to other all-inclusives, you do get a lot. I would recommend not only reserving your spot for Lemongrass and Feathers, but also for the excursions. The glass bottom boat only sailed once a day at 9:30.

The best vacation ever!

I can't sing enough praises about Couples Swept Away!! Even when first arriving in the airport, we were treated like royalty. The Jamaican people have the most amazing customer service I have ever experienced. There is entertainment nightly, the food is fabulous, and drinks are on the house ;) We were certified in open water scuba with the resort dive team and they were so wonderful (thanks guys!!) I have already recommended this vacation to many relatives and co-workers and I would encourage anyone who is up for some adventure or just looking to hang out on the beach to give Couples a try!
