Our flight was delayed from Canada. I immediately called directly to the hotel tonlet them know we would be arriving a day late. The front desk girl..Kamisha thanked me for letting her know and we confirmed pur arrival time for the next day. We arrived the next day at 3pm. Our room was not ready...as the had rented it out. We have booked 7 days starting with the previous day..anf paid in full. After a breif discussion a room was found. I can't complain about the food...thete was a recent hurricane and some supplies are difficult to get. I brought food, tolietties, clothing and things for the staffs children. The restaurant and housekeeping staff were lovely. The beach bar staff on the other hand took advantage .....they had 3 bottles of luqior. Could not make a dirty banana...which is popular...I bought all the alcohol and bananas to mske the drink and they still charged me full price. There were locals at the resort hanging out everyday, getting high and harassing the guests.Give me money, if you didnt you were told to go F##k yourself and called a racist. I loved Jamaica and always brought supplies and tipped well, but this was awful. Our travel money will now go where it is appreciated. Not Jamaica or this hotel.

The staff were excellent all around. From the time we arrived, everyone made us feel very welcome and at home. From the office staff to, the clean comfortable room, the food offerings and kitchen staff, drinks, friendly bar tenders, pristine beach and pool, excellent lifeguards and maintenance staff, and beautiful gardens, everything was great. We enjoyed every moment and are looking forward to our next visit. Respect.

This was our first stay at this property. We found the hotel to be very accommodating to our needs the room was cleaned daily, the staff were pleasant to deal with, the food offered at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced. The beach was well maintained with loungers, umbrellas and towels. The bed was comfortable and AC worked great. There were mosquitoes getting in the room possibly through doors with slats on side. Lots of mosquitos on our patio but the property has a jungle vibe so to be expected. We loved the jungle feel. All in all a great stay. Would return.

Unfortunately, my stay at Negril Palms was disappointing from beginning to end and did not align with the 3.5-star rating listed on Expedia. Check-in was delayed by nearly three hours, with no meaningful communication or apology. Upon finally accessing the room, it was immediately clear that the property is outdated and poorly maintained. The room was extremely sparsely furnished, consisting only of a bed, very old side tables, a noisy refrigerator, and what could loosely be described as a desk. There was no dresser, closet storage, or luggage rack, making it impractical and uncomfortable for anything beyond a very short stay. Towels provided were visibly dirty, which raised concerns about cleanliness overall. Security also appeared to be lacking. The property did not feel well monitored or secure, which was especially concerning at night. Food and beverage service was another major issue. One restaurant order took approximately one hour and forty-five minutes. Additionally, the on-site “bar” was essentially nonfunctional. It had little to nothing in stock and could barely make basic drinks. I would not consider it a bar by any reasonable standard, despite being advertised as one. Overall, Negril Palms felt poorly managed and far below the expectations created by its star rating. The lack of cleanliness, minimal amenities, slow service, and absence of basic hospitality services made this a very frustrating experience. I would not recommend this property.

Over all stay was great…. The rooms could use a blanket on the beds, not just sheets. Especially when AC is being used and also have a kettle to get hot water for coffee or tea in room. I would definitely stay here again. Location is perfect!!!! Staff were nice!

Was nice, comfortable hotel. Love the fact it was directly on the beach, accessible to loads of bars and restaurants along the beach, so didn't eat at all in the hotel. Unfortunately, I was without hot water for one or two days, but the issue was resolved pretty quickly. Staff were polite and helpful. For the price, was worth the stay.

Let start with a handicap room was requested way before the booking and it was promised but not granted. The toilet was broken in my room my entire visit. My TV was broken and very staticky. It took hours to receive new towels requested. I was forced to impede on my friends room who was there with a companion. I have good mind to dispute the charges

No towels. Asked for them. Got 2 with holes in them. Bed had a sheet on it without bedding. Was dirty. Check in took two hours (ya it's island time but it was past check in time and we were tired from traveling so it started off rough and went down hill). Check out had billing error (confused me with another guest with the same first name).

My stay at Negril Palms was a little under “okay.” I checked in around 6:00 PM and was extremely tired after traveling. The first room I was assigned had a lot of ants, which was very uncomfortable. I was then moved to a second room, but the key did not work. After going back and forth, I was finally given a third room that worked. By that time, I was hungry, so I went to the hotel restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience there was disappointing. The male server (with a noticeable spot on his face) made me feel like I was bothering him. After I placed my dinner order, he never asked if I wanted a drink. I eventually had to go back to my room to get my own glass of wine. Because of this experience, I did not eat at the hotel restaurant again during my stay. Instead, I found a restaurant near the hotel, where the service and food were amazing, and I had all of my meals there. (Miss Elliy) Throughout my stay, there was constant noise and fighting, which made it difficult to relax. One morning, my car was blocked in, and I was almost late for an appointment. Overall, I found the staff to be unfriendly and rude, and my experience did not meet expectations.

Check in was okay, did take a few minutes. We asked for an iron from the night we checked in and was advised that one would be provided the following morning, however mulitiple calls and visits to the office we were told housekeeping could nkt find an iron and would have to check the occupied rooms. This wouldnt be a big deal usually but we were travelling for my mom's funeral and needed an iron.
