As beautiful as this resort looks, I would never return. The food was good and there were plenty of restaurant options, but the service and overall experience were extremely disappointing. My husband and I stayed on the adult side for our 10-year anniversary. At check-in, we were asked if we were celebrating anything and we mentioned our anniversary. They asked if we’d like a banner or something special, and we agreed—yet nothing was done.
On our actual anniversary, we wanted a tour of the resort and were assigned a concierge, Kemoy, who was unprofessional. Instead of showing us the property, he brought us to an office where staff pushed an expensive “Privilege” upgrade and pressured us to commit to a $3k timeshare that same day. They wasted hours of our time, downplayed our room, and became rude when we declined.
The following day at the beach, there were no towels anywhere. We came out of the water freezing, saw dirty towels scattered around, and no one would provide clean ones. We walked to the lobby dripping wet and waited nearly 20 minutes for a manager. He apologized for the lack of anniversary acknowledgment and sent champagne, fruit, and a banner—on the last night of our trip. We didn’t touch any of it.
The staff was consistently unprofessional, unhelpful, and dismissive. Because of that, I will NEVER return. If you want great food and a much better experience, I recommend Dream Rose Montego Bay or the Grand Palladium. I wouldn’t stay at this resort ever again.
