First All-Inclusive

Pros: I loved the amount of activities provided, the amenities, the view, and the staff.
Cons: The bed wasn't the most comfortable, and my automatic clock strangely didn't work. I tried to set the time manually to no avail.
I travel the world, but normally I prefer to stay in non-resorts. This time, I decided to stay at Iberostar, and I was quite pleased. Although I traveled alone, everyone made me feel right at home (literally) and was super friendly. The staff was fun, helpful, and seemed to all love their jobs.

Nice hotel, a little overpriced.

Pros: Free wifi Beach front. Friendly staff
Cons: More activities.
Location: Rose Hall haunted house Montego Bay market.
The staff was friendly, I felt welcomed as soon as I entered the hotel. The specialty Restaurants were completely booked we could not make reservations for the time we where there and although we where on a waiting list a cancellation never came up. (That was disappointing). The buffett food was okay there was a variety of food. However, I would have liked a little more pepper on the jerk chicken since we where in Jamaica. The activities and entertainment are geared towards an older crowd. I didn’t see much activities for teenagers to participate in other than volleyball. Shout out to the bartenders Patrice and Kevin and to the entertainer string bean

Shade Trees

Pros: W\Easy pace and a very friendly work crew.
Cons: Maybe cook out hamburgers on the beach.
Location: Stayed in the resort.
I really liked the shade trees at the beach. Not all of us want to sit out in full sun. Add to that, the beach bar is steps away as is the rest room. And, if you are not in a hurry, a waitress will be by to take yiour drink order.

Beautiful beach with lots of natural shade ( trees

Very nice beach and a short ride to the airport. Entertainment staff, bartenders, Beach and Pool waitresses are all exceptional. Compared to other all inclusive resorts we have been to , accommodations are average ( but room was very musty ) and restaurant food average. The staff mentioned above were all very nice and put a lot of effort into making your vacation enjoyable.

A bit disappointed because we were told we could use the sister facilities but it turned out we could not. False advertising.

Go elsewhere

Pros: Staff were very friendly.
Cons: The rooms need to be gutted and updated. The lobby bathroom is nicer than the entire hotel room/bathroom.
Rooms had a strong musty odor and it would smack you in the face when coming from the outdoors. The bathroom was also in poor condition. The tub tiles had some mold and water damaged ceiling. I didn't bother complianing since I knew all the rooms were like that as I overheard other guests say the same. Drinks were left outside hotel room doors and stayed out there for at least 48 hours. I took it as a lesson learned to never stay there again and spent as much time as I could on the beach.

Nice hotel for the price

We had a rocky start at this resort, however the assistant manager was very receptive and made our stay wonderful. Before booking this hotel, we did not know there was no hot tub on the property. We had to walk to the Suites property to use the hot tub and there is a cost associated with that so beware if you are looking for a property with a hot tub. Also, to my knowledge, there was no indoor pool at this property as pictured. Overall we had a very positive experience. The food, location and beach were all wonderful. The staff was excellent and we really enjoyed the entertainment every night. I would definitely stay at an Iberostar property again.

Great value

Pros: The staff was incredible. I wouldn't hesitate to return simply based on how they treated their guests. It was a very positive experience!
Location: Free shuttle to shopping from the hotel. We also used the spa next door at Rose Hall Suites.
We just returned from a week stay at Iberostar Rose Hall Beach. We have stayed at many all-inclusives (some more expensive than others) and they all have good and not so good features and Rose Hall Beach was no exception. The room was immaculate. Towels were replaced when the room was cleaned and also in the evening when the beds were turned down. That is a big plus which doesn't happen everywhere. The bed was a little too firm for me, but not unbearable. The pillows were also not super comfortable, just adequate. The food was okay. I really didn't care for much on the buffet but the selection was impressive. The Jambalaya restaurant was decent. They had excellent calamari and coconut shrimp. The steak from the steakhouse was overcooked, but it was still actually very good and they also had good desserts. The resort was completely booked while we were there and we were still able to find chairs by the pool for a family of 4 each day. The entertainment every evening was nice. I think the main thing you have to remember is that you are not paying for a 5 star resort. You are getting exactly what you should at the price you are paying. You have to be reasonable with your expectations. There is one area that definitely exceeded my expectations and that was the staff. I cannot express in this short review how incredible every staff member was. Outstanding!
