Really nice hotel and great staff. The food could use some work. The food is good but could be wayyy better. The only issue i had with the room was there is a step down to the patio and i have a 1+ years old child so it was annoying having to constantly keep the baby away from the steps.

We enjoyed the welcoming family friendly environment. This resort was not too large but small enough to feel a sense of community. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel like members of a larger family. The programming and shows provided great options for children of all ages. On the down side, we had two rooms and one toilet ran all night. I mentioned to maintenance and they said they would take care of it but never did. On our last day as we headed to checkout, we were asked if we wanted to purchase weed. Overall, these minor issues did not affect our wonderful experience. We are definitely going back.

Everything is good except the staff At check in I was handed the room keys and they were on to the next person. No one cared to tell me where my room was, general informations, even , restaurants, their hours… absolutely nothing. I even took luggage to the room at check in and to the lobby at checkout myself! Don’t expect even a smile from any staff member. It’s like you are bothering them when you ask a question! Yet they expect a tip for anything they do

Check-in’s at 3pm-we didn’t get a key to our room until 4:38pm and still couldn’t go in the room until 5pm cause it “wasn’t ready. This was also after going back and forth with front desk cause they tried to put us in a ONE bed room. We reserved a room with two beds! DO NOT get a room on the ground floor! They have roaches in them! Oh and if you’re going for all-inclusive to drink, do NOT stay at Riu in Ocho Rios cause the water down their alcohol. The entertainment they have each night is top tier though!!! The one housekeeping lady named Sabrina was the best as well! Everything else makes me not want to ever book this place again unfortunately.

There is no transportation on the grounds for older visitors if they need assistant. Due to the lrge amount of guest, parking was a problem. We had to park all the way at the entrance of the hotel. which meant about a mile walk back, which was very painful due to the fact that I just had knee surgery. Maybe incoroporating some golf carts on the premises in cases like this would accomodate the guest and make thier stay more comfortable

Excellent stay. Warm ocean water with gentle waves, white sand, beautiful resort, great RIU party, great shows, great staff, lovely large pools. Every selection of food and then some ! Whole family had a wonderful time - we will be back!

I loved the property. The best I've experience since my first travel in 1996. I would love to see more authentic Jamaican food being served hence the reason why so many African Americans travel to this beautiful country to experience. Other than that, the RIU Ocho Rios is now my second home. Thank you for taken care of me.

Very clean rooms. They need to find a better way to replace wrist bands when it comes off your wrist. Charging customers $250 to replace it is not the best way for customers.
