The food selection was horrible. The room were dirty. I had items missing from my room. Everyone is trying to make money off of you including the cab options. Everyone that went to this wedding. We all came back home sick with cold because of how dirty this hotel is.

I definitely would suggest for the hotel to have a night of gospel songs.. Seen that believers also stays at resort as well , just like anyone else who enjoys reggae and calypso.

I’ll never book unless it’s adults only. The checkin was horrible and exhausting. Finally time to check-in and only one of our rooms are available. All restaurants were booked the while weekend if was 4 of us and we all got sick form the buffet restaurant all of the food was terrible. What if expect more than anything at least some Authentic Jamaican food it was none.

I was there with my family to celebrate my 40th birthday. We always stay at RIUs all inclusive in other countries and never had negative experience but her in Ocho Rios it was not positive at all. First off all they need to hire more people I feel like staff is over worked and which means they aren’t friendly especially at Buffett area and food services. If you are in lobby or bar area no one comes to ask if we need anything or to serve you: which goes same at the pool sides as well. We just didn’t get that wow or friendly all inclusive experience which we always get at other locations. Second food was horrible. It was same every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also advertise that there are 4 restaurants besides buffet which you need reservations for and they aren’t open every day so it’s hard to get the reservation. We never experience that in any other RIU all inclusive resort. Last thing as I had mentioned earlier we were there to celebrate my birthday which we never were able to do that even I added that in request in advance. We didn’t get any birthday cake or something. The only positive thing was the beach and weather. Beach was clean no sea weed and water was so calm and clean. We enjoyed the beach and view.

The food is excellent. The prices at their shop were high. Potato chips were $14. Most of the staff were nice and accommodating. However, a couple were rude. Overall, the property is beautiful and the accommodations were good.

Ok stay not the best but one of the worst. Food in buffet is repetitive each day they might have one or two dishes that change same food for lunch and dinner also. Specialty restaurants was hard to reserve and the food is bad that one of the restaurant have to get food from buffet because they run out of food. Overall not going back even it’s for free.

It’s a very nice hotel. On arrival, I didn’t feel welcome like I did at other All Inclusive hotels that I have been. I think that this is something the hotel has to work on if they want to stay in business. Overall, I had a good time but they need to improve on their hospitality.

Overall good time but wouldn’t go back. Staff were great. Caribbean food was great! Otherwise all other cuisines were bad, close to terrible (but note i did not try any breakfast there so no comment for that). Drinks were very inconsistent, hard liquor was watered down (went for a wedding and the liquor there tasted much stronger). One other disappointing factor was that we booked and paid extra for “Ocean view” as stated in the room name but found out upon arrival that this just means “partial ocean view” AND it’s just the view from the hallway of your room door, not the view from your actual room. I don’t know when false advertisement started happening on Expedia but that’s super frustrating because you’re willingly paying for the extra fee for that perk but it’s not very transparent. Feels like a sneaky money grab... I put this disappointment both on the Resort and Expedia.
