The Godfrey Hollywood is unique. I adore the relaxed ambiance with its sexy lighting and subdued colors creating a more sensual atmosphere. There is a fun, lively rooftop restaurant (ALK) that offers delicious cuisine, an irresistible pool, and an inviting lounge. The fantastic staff, including Betsy, Manager, Ausie, and Mark, are inspiring, ensuring everything is up to one's liking). Everyone makes you feel welcome, from the reception point to the cleaning staff and beyond. The experiences are ongoing, tasteful, and positive. I feel so relaxed. I haven't had a vacation in years, and flying out for the weekend to attend a special B-Day party made my brief stay at The Godfrey even more memorable. One word sums up my impressionable stay "The Godfrey Hollywood" is serendipitous!

The hotel is nice and the service is great, however it is situated next to a punk rock bar/club that blares music into the early morning. The hotel room walls are not soundproof or insulated so noise is problematic.

The friendly, graceful service providers responsible for the cleanliness of, not only my room, but also the overall cleanliness of the facility treated me with kind courtesy. If a hotel could be called heavenly, The Godfrey Hotel comes close and the Staff came so near to being angels, treating me with their joyous presence: Halleluiah. And I am a Buddhist. Let me not forget the Valet staff: my son and I asked for many errands of the valets, for which they promptly accomplished with complete dedication to our wishes. The front desk staff was right up there as well. Jerry, the master mixer, treated me with quiet and kind respect. And I had so much fun having Martinis and dinner and coffee and more Martinis. I literally wondered: Where did they (The Godfrey) find all these angels? No joke. Also, I am a very young 75, who walks with a cane.
