Wifi was not included in prIce of the reservation. I was shocked and appalled that a hotel with the reputation and caliber of the Westin charges an additional fee for Wi-Fi. I expect much more from a hotel of the stature

I travel to Long Beach 2-3 time a year for family events. I knew about the location of this hotel and couldn't believe the deal I was getting so no hesitation on the booking. The old adage " if something seems too good to be true it probably is", comes to mind. There was no mention that the place was under construction and most of the hotel was unusable. The pool was a back yard size on the fifth floor and was packed, so no swimming was possible. The dinning area was moved to the lobby so while you eat you get to watch the checkins a couple feet away. Dogs, wheel chairs and screaming babies. All of which, I love under different circumstances. I'm a disabled dog lover with no grand kids yet... The up side was the staff was excellent despite they're having to apologize for so much.

clean/quality accommodations, friendly staff/very nice/helpful, check-in line was very long/took too long to check in, remodeling was going on but there was little affect on the quality of our stay, we will stay here again vs marriott
