Third time to stay at this Hotel

Pros: It was renovated a few years ago, with new themes, colors and furniture. I enjoy the rooms on the same level as the pool, and pool access rooms. The
Cons: Parking of $42 per day is mildly outrageous, plus the $20 "resort" fees.
This is the third time to stay at this Hotel. It was renovated a few years ago, with new themes, colors and furniture. I enjoy the rooms on the same level as the pool, and pool access rooms. The staff is nice and the bar / lobby area is very nice. Being about 3 years since the full renovation, the bathroom floors (with the very small tile squares) are starting to get dirty, other than that the rooms are great. I did use the lobby ATM machine to my dismay. I keyed in $200, and only $80 came out. Apparently it was out of money. Instead of giving me the $120 that didn't come out (all of it was deducted from my bank account), I was told to take it up with my bank. The Hotel should of refunded the $120 that didn't come out of the machine, and taken up the issue with the owner of the leased ATM. Bad Customer Service from a repeat Customer. The daily parking fees of $42 per day are over the top. Even though I love this quaint renovated Hotel, I probably wont return with daily parking at $42 per day.

nice hotel on the strip

Parking fee was excessive!! Hotel was great, could have offered free coffee, but nothing extra was free at the daily rate, not cool!

Great hotel in the heart of West Hollywood

We stayed here for 5 nights. I'm an architect that appreciates thoughtful details and saw them everywhere around the hotel...lobby, bar, restaurant, room, pool, etc. The owners / designers didn't chintz on anything when remodeling the property. There are two exciting projects nearing completion immediately to the west, so the investment was a no-brainer to me. Great staff...helpful and friendly (almost had someone open the door with a smile for us each time we came and went)...I'm sure working in a beautiful space doesn't hurt. Rooms and property could not have been cleaner. Easy walk west and east to shops / restaurants / bars and south to Melrose Design District. Costly houses climb the hills to the north. Easy walk to Starbucks and Enterprise (awesome staff!) as well. Are the floors and walls a little thin noise-wise? Yep...welcome to sleeping in a hotel. Hopefully you'll be so tired from having fun in the fresh air all day long that you won't notice a thing...we didn't.

Enjoyable!

Friendly staff and a nice decor made our stay in LA very comfortable. Awesome pool that is appreciated in hot days when the beach gets too crowded. The restaurant has good options and the rooms a comfortable and large. Valet parking is $40 a day byt totally worth it!. Excellent location within walking distance to Weho. We had a very nice time at the Graffton. Thank you for making our trip even better!

Cool vibe

I like this hotel. It has a beautiful pool and its walking distance to a lot of clubs and restaurants. They have a hapoy hour from 5:30 until 7 in the lobby bar.Jordan the bartender was cute & nice.This is my 3rd stay there and I will continue to go back.

Not what expected

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: upgrading badly needed
Had an engagement in Hollywood area and needed a hotel close to proximity for one night. Was please with online reviews and hotel met requirements. While price was a bit high I realized it was due to location. However, upon check-in hotel did not have reservation on correct dates, they had me arriving on a certain day and leaving the previous day which is entirely impossible. While the matter was fixed I was made to feel as if it was an inconvenience for staff to rectify mistake and actually thought I may end up scrambling for another hotel. I had paperwork with reservation and accurate dates, but staff was still insisting that my reservation was for next day. Once straighten out and given a room I just wanted to relax before show that evening. Room was less than adequate, much in need of a update which is a shame because it seemed to be simple things that if kept up would have made stay more pleasurable. The hallway carpets looked like they hadn't seen a cleaning in a while. Room was old & in much need of a massive scrubbing and fresh paint. Valet staff & Bellhop who also doubles as shuttle driver so if he's busy you're out of luck. Best thing was it was quiet for the area I think this was partially due to there being no dining facility or bar in hotel.

Always a great stay

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: Noisy
I travel for work and The Grafton is always a reliable place. Wish the bar had been open, but there are a few great places only feet away that are perfect. I'll definitely stay there again.

This hotel was perfect for our vacation. The location couldn't have been better.

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet, beautiful pool area, discount available for a local restaurant, shopping and restaurants in walking distance
Cons: No free Internet, restaurant/bar closed while we were there, no breakfast/food on site
The Grafton was nice and clean and modern. The staff was extremely courteous and professional. Our room was on the pool and fitness room level, but we were pleasantly surprised with the quiet environment. The pool was beautiful, as in the hotel pictures. It is a salt water pool, so no chlorine smell. A beverage bar is available most of the day with coffee, hot water, iced tea and iced water. There is a balcony with seating off the lobby which overlooks the pool. The room was not one of the really cool ones, but very nice with a very Hollywood feel to it. The room's amenities included a nice size closet with items to make you feel at home, large dresser and tv, desk and Aeron style chair. They provide a variety of drinks and snacks, bathrobes and even a bath toy for the little one. These are all listed on a price sheet, should you be tempted to take or partake of any of it. You can bring food and drink in though. There is a fridge, but no microwave. We enjoyed our stay at The Grafton, and if we see a similar deal the next time we go to LA, then we will definitely stay there again!
