We regret this guest chose to write a poor review, which is based on false facts and solely an attempt to secure a $50 discount for their one night stay. Some facts that the reader needs to be aware of before evaluating our hotel: 1. This guest violated guest policy by falsely making a reservation for less than their accurate guest count. The hotel policy only allows for a maximum of five guests in a room. This guest lied on their reservation and violated hotel policy by having at least six guests occupy the guest room over night. 2. Surveillance video provides that two unclean cars carrying at least six guests carrying at least ten bags and their own blankets and pillows checked into the room. The guests did a remarkable job by only ensuring that two of the at least six guests checked in and checked out and made sure that the other guests made their way to the room through alternate entry points. 3. The front desk associate who checked them in was wearing a mask. The maintenance person who checked their room was wearing a mask. The front desk associate who was fully-vaccinated, behind plexi-glass and greater than six feet away from the guest had her mask around her ear temporarily so that the guest could hear her behind the plexi-glass. At the time the guest checked in and checked out, the CDC had recommended that no fully-vaccinated person is required to wear a mask in most circumstances. 4. We disagree that the hotel did not provide superior customer care to the guests and that they did not enjoy their stay. The surveillance video provides that at least six guests stayed in the room for the entirety of the time they checked-in and checked-out but for a few visits to go to the vending machine, remove belongings from their vehicles and collect grab and go breakfast, juice and coffee. 5. We have determined that the one silverfish insect that was found in the guest room came from the guests' ten pieces of luggage or their own blankets and pillows that they brought to the room. 6. We have concluded that the sock that the maintenance person found on the bed and under the pillow when he was inspecting the room after the guest complained belonged to one of the six guests in the room. The sock was found just prior to check-out time under a pillow of a bed that at least two people used for the entire night before. 7. We regret that the fridge freezer had a defrost issue and contained remnants of ice cream. We have coached and counseled the housekeeper and houseperson from the day before to ensure that such miscommunication between departments does not occur again. 8. The guest fails to disclose that as soon as the guest complained, the maintenance person was in the room in less than four minutes to inspect the room for the guest's complaints. 9. The guest fails to disclose that the front desk associate at check-out, who did not know all of the facts at the time, gave the guest a $50 discount to ensure the guest was satisfied with t

I just want to inform you that I have been working at this hotel for more than 20 years and one of the reasons why it last that long is that I feel safe. I am sorry if you don't feel the same way too and I hope that you will come back and stay for a few nights and experience it yourself. Thank you again.
