Pros: Not much
Cons: Lower the price
The rooms are small and overpriced for what you get

Cons: The pool was a little crowded so I would recommend going down early to reserve a chair.
Location: Great location. Directly across from MGM where we watched a show and shoppes and restaurants galore!
Great hotel. It was like visiting a piece of New York City while in Las Vegas. The casino was good, food choices excellent, other stores and activities were plentiful, with a roller coaster to top it all off! Clean facility and friendly staff. They made my husband feel special as we celebrated his birthday and I would definitely go back.

Strong tobacco smell

Posted Sep 26, 2015
Pros: The look of being on a street in the dining areas. But did not spend any time there because the smell of smoking.
Cons: Better air cleaning system
The lobby and first floor area had a very strong smell of tobacco smoke from the gambling area. We could not dine in any of the restaurants because of the smoke smell. Ongoing construction outside the rear of the Hotel starting at 0730. Small poolside area. Our room could have been cleaned better.

Pre-arranged commendations

Posted Sep 26, 2015
Pros: The hotel in all was a great location with a lot of amenities. The entertainment was outstanding.
Location: Again, the location to experience the whole strip was great. The bus transportation through the strip and downtown was good.
When arrived at hotel, our arrangements for a king bed was not available. We were given a queen bed and told we could be change to a king the next day. The next morning we had gone to the reservation desk and told them of the situation and they gave us another room. We had gone to the reassigned room to find out it was another queen bed. Again, we had to go back to the reservation desk to explain they had given us another queen bed room. We were told they did not have one, but after a few minutes of not excepting the answer, they found one. The room we were assigned did work out. Of course with a lot of " We Are Sorry".

Interesting Theme

Posted Sep 22, 2015
Pros: The theme.
Cons: Update the rooms, better housekeeping.
Location: Las Vegas Strip? Lots to do!
The NY NY is an interesting theme hotel, food areas laid out like Ney York neighborhoods with pizza places, bakeries, and delis. The facility though has not kept up. The rooms are ready for renovation. Impossible to find enough plugs to charge mobile devices in the rooms, not even plugs available in the lamps. Housekeeping was so-so, trays left in the halls for hours and our room didn't get cleaned every day. It was done nicely when it was cleaned. For the same money I think you can get a better room on the strip.

Hotel and car rental

Posted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: okay to gamble and foods.
Cons: view I was promised, I paid for was horrible.
Location: very good.
Hotel was okay! it would be nice to have coffee maker in the rooms, like other hotels have... will never stay at New York new your again for that reason. Went to Hertz rental to rent the car from the package.. Service way too slow... it took 45 minutes to get the car. Car stank of bad smell. Will never go to Hertz again and the counter people are very very rude!

It is OK, but very expensive

Posted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: The hotel is very nice inside and outside, and close to the airport
Cons: The smell of cigarette is bad, they should improve that. The food was really expensive too.
Location: The Grand Canyon is awesome, but don't do it in one day, it is way too much travel
I still don't understand why some of these hotels charge you an extra $33 per night for hotel fees, is that not include in what you are paying for the room?

One night in Vegas

Posted Sep 13, 2015
Pros: Great staff. Good location.
Cons: The hall decor could use an upgrade.
Location: Rollercoaster, the other hotels, the strip (obvi)
My fiancé and I arrived in Las Vegas later than the usual check-in and our bed selection was no longer available. The staff was quick to upgrade us to a larger suite at no-cost. We slept until midnight and then went out on the town to explore. We finally ended up getting dinner at the Bellagio, but should have just ordered room service at NYNY. Their room service was 24/7 and quite good. The breakfast we had the next morning in our room was 10x as good as the pasta we had at the Bellagio. Checkout was easy, and we used our card to enjoy the Rollercoaster before we left the city the next morning.
