Nice hotel not far from airport

The room was fine, the pool was great, the location was ok- nothing to walk to, you have to take a car everywhere. Do yourself a favor and sign up for uber- cheap and fast! I was traveling with my family and they got there before me. The hotel staff gave them a hard time and wouldn't let them check in even though I had called and added them to the reservation. Took them 45 minutes to check in and they finally had to go under someone else name. Ridiculous! They also charged an extra 20 per day such was not in the fine print.

this is a resort....

This is a resort that wants to sell you on buying time for other resort stays. I was almost scared away by the other reviews that talked about how pushy they can be to get you to set down and listen to their pitch. At check-in they said here is your welcome package for free comps and discounts for shows. I needed to see this person. So as I am leaving he said right this way for your package. I said I might be back down after we get settled. I never went back to the front desk area again. I got one room phone call about it said no three times and that was it. The stay itself was great. Great room, great kitchen, great beds, shower, etc. They have two big pools, water slides and 5 hot tubs. We used every single one. I am already planning my next trip back.

Time-share as hotel

Pros: I rented what felt like a large one-bedroom apartment -- small but adequate kitchen; TWO baths one of which had BIG Jacuzzi, both showers. Work table.
Cons: Automatic daily refill of coffee
Location: Easy to find after first drive into place, close to McCarran & car rental. Close-by Silverton casino / hotel has at least two good restaurants.
The value of this place as a HOTEL is above and beyond anything I've experienced in LV; been coming many years for the CES and stayed in Caeser's, Hilton, Palace Station Tower, Casino Royale, etc. I will stay again -- if I can put up with distance to Strip and that HEAVY traffic.(I did have a rental car.) Had cold weather when I was there, so no swimming in outdoor pool with access via room key lock. No Big Name restaurant for dinner, but decent place for breakfast.

Timeshare hotel shared by locals

Pros: The room was nice
Cons: The hotel needs to control the locals coming in causing overcrowding at the pool.
Location: The outlets are close.We asked if they had a shuttle and got 4 different answers so we never could figure out when to catch it or where it went.
We had a two bedroom suite for our family and the room was very nice. It is off the strip which is what we were looking for as we just needed a place to stay for one day. I don’t think I would come back though because the place just felt kinda ghetto. They give you a wrist band for the pool but security doesn’t enforce it…AT ALL. Even when I asked one of the workers about it they confirmed they don’t enforce it. The pool area was nice but was very overcrowded. About 40% didn't have wrist bands and a huge group told us they were locals. There was security roaming around the facility which was good but I was still a bit worried about my car. Also, beware…This facility is a timeshare so we were approached a couple of times to attend their seminar.

Warning! Avoid the high pressure sails pitch......

Pros: The suite was a large 980 square feet 2 room 2 bath apartment with a kitchen and a dining area perfect for a family get away vacation.
Cons: get rid of the time share sales "sharks" Please!....
Location: good location a bit far from the strip but not too bad.
Overall I loved the resort the staff was friendly and helpful but do avoid the concierge, those guys are always trying to make an extra buck from you. High Pressure Sales Tactics from the all too familiar Time Share Sales Techniques. For example when I called to see about check out procedure the concierge guy told me that check out time was 10am but since I was still there at 10:15 I could get charged for an extra day, then he tells me to go see him at the front to see what he could do for me. Needless to say I ignored what he said and went strait for the front desk to check out and the staff there said I was good to go without any other fees applied. hummm....

don't be afraid to complain.

Pros: nothing
when we checked in we were told how LUCKY we were to get one of the upgraded refurbished rooms. Our room looked like it was from the 70's. Carpet was frayed, no hair dryer in the master bedroom, faucet in other bath sprayed everywhere, no ice maker in fridge, ice machine on our floor (4) was broken along with 1 other floor, walls in hallway all marked up, elevator real slow and the second one didn't work, for a two bedroom the kitchen was just an after thought. Good thing we didn't plan on being in our room much.

Its a time share, so eh.

Amenities were very few. Room was clean and spacious, but old. Only one cafe and they never heard of pre-ordering room service. And breakfast orders are not taken until 9am. Gym was super tiny. I guess its a time share place. Pool was great though, with fun slide. Good place to stay with family with kids.

Quiet location/Pushy staff

Cons: Customer Service!
I had been warned that the staff was pushy as it is a timeshare set up. When we checked in, we were told to stop at the Concierge desk to pick up our Welcome packet. We were somewhat in a hurry, but stopped by there anyway. The guy rambled on about all the things he could do for us while we were there even though we had told him several times that we had to go. Again, we had been warned, so I thought ok...that's it. All was good until day of check out. Their check out time is 10 am. I've never had a check out earlier than 11, and they did not explain that at check in time. So they give you a "courtesy call" on the day of check out at 9:45!! We were just getting showered and packed so I asked if we could have a late check out. Denied. After some not friendly conversation, we were told if we weren't there by 10 there may be extra charges assigned to the room. Finally, we said...do what you have to do, we CAN'T be there in 10 mins!! When we finally got down to the lobby, it was a total zoo! We were told to go to the Concierge desk again (instead of the front desk). This was so they could hit you up one more time for their timeshare program. I finally got thru to him that I just wanted to check out, and so he went thru the process and said it was done. I asked for a copy of my bill, and he said it would be emailed to me. I said I needed a printed copy, he said he couldn't do it. So I waited for an email, didn't get that either until I called a week later.
