Hard Rock is to be known as very loud and in the bar area it was. But what amazed me most is when you got onto the elevator no noise at all. Whomever designed the place did a great job at sound proofing

Last Stay Ever at HR (giving up VIP membership)

Problems started the moment we checked in. Only 1 of the 2 rooms were ready. We were told I would be notified by phone call/text when the 2nd room was ready. No communication for 4 hours until finally after 6 p.m. I went down & asked about my room. They said "oh it's ready, sorry". Waited another 15 minutes for the person to return with my key. Nothing. Finally saw him & he asked if he could help me. I reminded him that he had just left me to get my room key. He apologized & got my key. Went to the room. Phone didn't work although it rang alot (when HR was calling to inevitably try and sell me timeshare, etc) but I could not answer phone or dial out. I mentioned it to the conceirge. And of course... nothing was fixed. So I could not order room service for the 4 days/3 nights I was there. Also, no housekeeping was done. Had to go down and ask (cannot call remember) and the conceirge said... yeah... you should call down at 9 a.m. if you want housekeeping. I reminded them I had no working phone. Response was (blink, blink... blinkety blink blink). I had emailed days before checking in to ask for reservations at restaurants that required reservation with no response. On arrival, I could not get a reservation until the last night. Food was meh. Beaches were crappy. Seaweed/trash everywhere. Nothing cleaned up. Beach waiters (Oscar & Carlos) were great & Alexsander was great to set up chairs/umbrellas. Last stay with HR. I am giving up my HR VIP membership.

The property it’s over price , the rooms are dirty and green moe , they clean your room and leave you with now tower to dry yourself, we called and it took them 30 minutes to bring us towels, to eat at one of the menus restaurant it’s a mission , there book two days in advance. The hotel it’s way to expensive for the service and the rooms

We stayed with our kids (12 and 14) and had a great vacation - the beach was great, the pool was gorgeous. There were always a lot of staff around ready to assist you if you needed it. Alexander on the beach worked especially hard. The rooms were a bit small and the AC didn't seem to be quite powerful enough sometimes. That said, they are undergoing some renovations. The buffet was decent but they other a la carte restaurants were not up to our expectations so after trying two of them we opted to just stick to buffet or room service. We liked the tennis and basketball - just wished they were a little shaded so we could use them during the day rather than just evenings. We attended two shows (MJ and African) and both were highly entertaining.

Nothing very disappointing, we were escorted to the side check in , nothing special no greeting with hot towel or drink. HRH was amazing!

Overall it was a lovely stay! We got upgraded which allowed us to some additional perks. Pool was amazing, beach was amazing, food was amazing! Service was great—quick drinks, friendly & kind. We had an ocean view room—typical hotel style room. The jacuzzi looked old and we did not use. Getting reservations for Toro & Zen were kind of a pain, but worth it! Sometimes we found the resort to be too loud and had to search for quiet places. The spring breakers were arriving! Great place & would stay again!

We honestly weren’t pleased with any of it for the price we paid. Our room stunk, they need bathroom fans because everything always felt damp. Room smelled like a mixture of chlorine & mildew. Hallway would randomly smell like cat pee. Our toilet barely flushed. Our room got flooded from our neighbors toilet shattering. They tried getting us to stay in our flooded room. Didn’t offer any type of refund. Not even an apology. The food was HORRIBLE. Also to top it off one of their vacation specialist tried hitting on my fiancée. Asking if he could kiss him. Then made comment we could share him. We will never recommend this place to anyone & will not be back to this resort.

We had an amazing experience. Anytime we called room service or needs were met almost instantly. The pet program is stellar. Thank you for helping me celebrate my birthday.
