Room could’ve been cleaner, staff was kind. Unfortunately it didn’t help that the front desk staff didn’t tell us anything about our choices for parking, had no idea what the breakfast menu would be the week we stayed and also seemed to be annoyed that the house keepers took one of the wash cloths we brought from home. She said “oh, why’d you bring that?” Nothing else.

Pros- the room is clean and renovated, housekeeping does a great job. The free beach towels and chairs and sand toys is a very nice service, makes life really easy and you don’t have to pack these things! Cons- breakfast was such a terrible disappointment. Advertised as a full buffet breakfast, It is anything but! It is only slightly better than continental, the only difference is the breakfast meat. Every morning was the same -scrambled eggs, one breakfast meat and either pancakes or French toast. This would’ve been fine had the quality been better. The eggs seemed powdered. The French toast and pancakes, tasted like they were made the day before and reheated. Really poor quality ingredients. Twice during our 1 week stay they served Jimmy Dean sandwiches and that was it. Yuck. On top of that you have to eat outdoors where you are continuously harassed by pigeons. It also rained and was very windy.They use disposable coffee cups which is so wasteful and doesn’t make you feel like you’re having a nice coffee in a nice hotel. Not what I would expect from a Hyatt. The mattresses are way too soft, not supportive at all. And the single pane windows are old. Very old. So loud- sounds like you are outside.

The rooms were good! Staff was always so nice, breakfast was okay, we only ate there two times, the first time it was great but the second time they had some of the frozen breakfast sandwiches that have (ham, cheese and egg), unfortunately the ones we grab 3 out of 5 of us got a cold sandwich in the middle. Really close to the beach and there’s a lot of stores nearby.

This place makes it sound like it is on the beach. I was pretty let down to see it was at least 5 buildings back off the beach. My ocean view room had some ocean views but the the main thing I saw was the condo building in front of it with a bunch of junk on the balcony. The pool is tiny and on the 3rd floor so you can't see any ocean from here and it felt like you were in the middle of buildings all around. The breakfast was good and the room was spacious. The staff was very good and friendly. The happy hour beers were still double digits which was crazy to me. I liked how they provided chairs and towels you can take to the beach even though the chairs were quite worn. The metal water bottles and filling stations were very helpful. Overall I felt somewhat tricked because I thought we were up front along the beach as it says in the name. I should have stayed at the Hyatt Regency over this hotel. After a few days I moved to a different hotel on the beach.
