This is somewhat of a budget hotel for being so close to Waikiki beach but there are drawbacks. Cleanliness issues - the trash was not taken out nor was the toilet paper changed upon arrival/check-in. A strange smell filled the room constantly. Worst of all, cockroaches were present inside the bathroom and then also later in the bedroom space of the double room. The staff was friendly enough and did offer to spray the room. However, the cleanliness and roach problem of the room made the stay not so enjoyable but at least the hotel was affordable.

Within our first night, we had two roaches in our room. The room itself was very small, dirty and VERY outdated and staff wasn’t too pleasant. The hotel is cheap so you get what you pay for but the exception of quality of the property in general is NOT good. Should’ve read the reviews before I booked. AND 45 DOLLARS A NIGHT FOR PARKING

Paid for a room with a kitchenette but there were no pots or pans to use on the stovetop and no microwave. Also the electrical outlets did not hold the plugs in so charging phones and computers was difficult.

This hotel needs to be remodeled/refurbished. Very old and that’s ok but very raggedy. The curtain was ripped and held together with tape, roaches, shower head squirted water everywhere and around the floor of the wall was cracked up. The nerve of them to have long lines to check in when the room was in deplorable conditions. I took a pic of the torn curtain which I will share. A few good things … staff was very friendly, near everything including the beach and the hotel did have a bar that seemed to be popular.
The curtain has been taped from the outside so it can’t be seen directly from the inside of the room.

The first room did not have hot water for shower. Front desk and maintenance said let it run for half an hour. Front desk did nothing to help us. Talked with manager and she kindly move us to another room. Check out was 12 noon. At 9 am, 10 am staff knocking at the door and at 11am we were phoned. Ther were also spraying the room for bugs. Do not know what kind and if eggs are in our suitcases. Not impressed

The staff was amazing- we arrived early and they held out luggage till chrckn time. We had some pilikia with our first room so they moved out room, which took awhile for them to do - but the second room was fine. The hotel is clean, but VERY worn ( wall paper peeling, tape on the. Curtains, riped box spring mattress) The snack bags they give you each morning are awesome and the staff is Wonderful!!

The rooms were clean, the beds are comfortable. The hotel could use some updating, but I found it to be quaint. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Waikiki Beach is really close and high end shopping is 1 street over. Great food places steps away from the hotel. Bonus is the Bus Stop is nearby and take you right to the airport! I highly recommend!

Staff is helpful but not very friendly. Kurig in all rooms and room service daily, although while staying there they sent out a notice saying room service will be limited now to every 3 days instead of daily. Room service ladies were very friendly. Rooms are semi clean, dirty walls and dripping faucet in the bathroom. Kitchenette was very nice to have. The area is very loud making it hard to sleep at night.
