"Take into consideration that the access to the beach in front of the hotel is restricted. The closest approved beach (Medano) is a good three blocks walking through the sand. We read in Expedia, the hotel description they paid for transportation. After a call to the hotel the staff confirmed that information. When we arrived at the airport we were met with prepaid hotel transfers only, and no available connection to reserve. We were scared to opt for Uber since our connection was spotty so taxi was the only alternative, an expensive one at that. Be careful with the sales tactics from the airport Time shares. They will lie and assure you they are airport workers and they are there to take you to the transfer station, or any other way they can hook you to their desks. The sales tactics are extremely aggressive to the extent of lying. The staff is very affable and approachable. They were smiling all the time. Our biggest complaint will be the food quality. Our family have been to several RIU in the world and so far this resort offers the worst culinary experience. The pools are big and very clean. The beds are very comfortable. Entertainment was enjoyable and not overwhelming."

"I can’t express how pleased I am with this resort. The staff was superb! I am a member at another resort in another area and I am seriously considering switching properties. This is a top notch resort and all staff is ready to assist if needed and you always receive a friendly smile, nod, and hand across their chest as you walk by. I felt safe on the resort as well. Beautiful views of the ocean and the pools were so nice! Fun games, events, and shows to keep you occupied. If you are bored, that’s on you. The spa! Chef’s kiss!! Overall 10/10 and will definitely keep this place in mind for myself and to recommend to family and friends."

"The advantage plan/upgrade with the private pools were not worth it. Pools not kept, mold. Most of the 5 restaurants they advertise are not open. Some nights only 2 were open. Buffett was limited and also not open some nights for dinner. Take a bite had no food to offer except a few old muffins. Several restaurants food was not good at all. We left several restaurants and had no where else to eat. Locals come in wed/thurs/fri so others don’t get much service at all. Reservations are moved down the list even if placing earlier. Won’t be back- we stayed 7 days No shuttle service without a fee $100 cab ride too and from airport for 2 people"
