The location was excellent. The food was very average. While we were there many options were closed. The first day the concierge made us a reservation for dinner but the restaurant onsite said we didn’t have a reservation so we had to eat room service.

Our room was right next to the ocean and the view was amazing! The surrounding area was very quiet which was great for us. Food options were pretty good too and my favorite was the Cilantro restaurant. The Blanco resort we stayed was right next to another resort called Rose and we could use the pools or restaurants from either resort and everything was a part of the all-inclusive plan. They also provided free shuttle rides to their third resort called Sunset Beach, which had many good food choices too. Every staff we met was very nice and we felt so welcomed!

Pool was falling apart. Many tiles missing or hanging off. The rooms were disgusting and dirty. Not cleaned from previous guests. Changed rooms 4 times in 7 days. Completely locked out from one room. The elctronic key system would not work. The maintenance people had to break in the unit so we could get our things out, to move to yet another room. Was a complete disappointment staying here after working and saving all year to go. Please if anyone is taking their first trip to Mexico, do not base your opinions of Mexico on this place. Book somewhere else. Beyond me how this place has a 4.7 rating on review sites.

This hotel has a great beach front location. The hotel is very outdated and needs major updating, the pool needs to be redone plaster, there are many missing tiles along the pool tile line and need to be replaced. I would rate this hotel a 3 out of 5. It has a great location but food and updating decor need improvement. Very cost friendly trip so that was a factor in choosing this hotel. One of the benefits of staying here is you can eat, swim and use amenities at 1 of 3 hotels that it is affiliated with so that is a plus as well. Good value for the money and great location.

Unfortunately, Hurricane Pricilla interupted our stay but the staff and hotel sid a great job to keep people happy and shifted services around. Love this place but its is starting to show some wear. PB should look at some minor upkeeping. Food is very good for an all inclusive.

We went in late September so some of the restaurants were closed during slow season. The rooms are a bit dated. The resort pool is dated, tiles were all ripping off. We had access to the rose and sunset resorts which was nice. The gym facility at rose was fantastic.
