Beautiful clean reasort.

The reasort is clean and has helpful staff. The most helpful staff member I met was Laura. I believe she was from the entertainment group. My 11 month old baby was fussy and Laura worked her magic to calm her down. The reasort is wonderful and the food is great. The evening restaurants are great. We especially liked the steak house. My family never had an issue getting in on time. The buffet has many options with an omelet and pancake station for breakfast. The theater had great shows starting at 930pm. The drinks were hit and miss. Overall, we would stay again.

Beautiful Hotel - Wish I slept more

Beautiful hotel, excellent staff & friendly, very clean and super comfy beds. Just wish I could of slept more. It was hard due to the construction going on early morning and into the evening. If there was some kind of notice on Travelocity's web page stating if staying at this hotel on this side of the resort there's heavy construction going on that would of been different because I would of had a choice. But I didn't. The hotel offered to move me but at additional cost. This wasn't part of my first stay and getaway to Cabo at all.

Pros: The hotel very clean, the grounds were very keep up. It was very beautiful. The pool were so nice and the staff made it fun with activities.
We stayed at the Riu Sante Fe and the staff and hotel were awesome, excellent food. Everything was perfect the staff went out of there way to help us and give us tips on where to go. I would high recommend staying here

Did not meet expectations

Pros: The only good things were the size of the pools and the amount of lounge chairs available.
Cons: Better customer service/friendlier staff, allow reservations at restaurants, nice plush white towels in room with separte beds.
Location: Good location, close enough to take a quick taxi to popular spots like Mango Deck, The Office or Marina.
We've stayed in Cabo 3 other times at various all inclusive resorts and unfortunately trying out the RIU Sante Fe was a dissapointment. The staff was not very friendly or accomidating. A majority were unfriendly and when we tried the restaurants the servers seemed frustrated that they had to wait on tables (the staff delivering the food had much better customer service). Food throughout the hotel was decent however not being able to make reservations meant we ate buffet 90% of the time which gets old after a week. The room itself was odd. We had two beds yet they were pushed together to make one large bed. The towels were hard and stiff. The drinks were weak and super sugary (I watched the bartenders poor spoonfuls of sugar in most). They rarely gave out straws so we had to ask everytime. Overall it just wasn't what we were expecting. We were ready to leave mid-week which has NEVER been the case when visiting Cabo. Not suprisingly they didn't even ask whether we enjoyed our stay when we checked out.

Nice affordable all inclusive

Pros: Pretty nice rooms with built in bar. Just don't expect to swim in the ocean by the hotel.
Cons: Toilet kept backing up. I paid for ocean view and we could barely see it because we were roomed on the side of the building. Staff needs to be nicer
Location: Marina was close. We did the party boat to the arch and snorkeling
Nice hotel for cost near beach. Swimming is not recommended in the ocean. Tides are extremely high. Hotel is massive huge.

Nice welcoming

Overall I rate it good besides the first night we went to an asain restaurant and staff was rude. The rest of the stay went ok. People were friendly and place was clean. Wished there wasn't so much construction going on because it did get loud.

Close to downtown

Nice hotel. Very large property so prepare to walk. A decent walk on the beach to town but nice. Food was great. Never had a bad meal. Staff weren't very informative when checking in so ask questions. If you want to party this is def the place to stay. Lots of bachelorette and bachelor parties going on.

Nice Hotel with a nice beach view

Pros: Pools, Drinks, Ocean Views
Location: Ocean gave us access to jetskies, house back riding, beach massages.
the beach was stunning, the pools were somewhat clean, what sucks was that they close the pool and jacuzzi by 6 so there is no point of swimming when the sun went down a little bit... the food LOOKED AMAZING, but sadly tasted very boring and no flavor, we actually ended up eating outside the hotel for the last stay. The staff was great when we entered, we had trouble with a safe and every 10 minutes we called for help, they said 10 minutes more wait... we waited 4 hours for someone to come assist us in the room. I left my sunglasses on the table for two minutes while I went to grab a drink of water and they went missing in a matter of two minutes. The waitress said she saw nothing but yet my friend lost his shoes and phone while he jumped in the pool... we don't point fingers but we can not do anything at this point. the stuff sadly sucked just as much as the food. Great prices for the stay and the amazing beach. The pool DJ had everyone in a great vibe and the Alcohol was GREAT, yes the drink service was a 10/10. Cabo Mexico knows how to drinnnkkk.

Too many drunk people !!!

I am a bit disappointed ....It's first time I come to this hotel in June. Fore many years I spend here a week of vacation in December. The hotel is clean as usual , the food is good, the service is good, good entertainment, the drinks are not so good, and the crowd that comes is not the best quality. In the winter you can find a bunch of Canadians/Americans who get drunk in the pool bars and in the summer is even worse. This time I've seen sex in the pool .... and those who had to stop "these activities" did not do much. During the night there are o lot of screaming and shouting. That was my last visit here.

NOT the Place, with Good Service and Food

RIU SFE is in a great location with beautiful views. If you are expecting to be pampered with great service and food, this is not the hotel for you. Food is average to below average and you may have to walk a half a mile to get some, as far as people coming to see if you want something, it doesn't happen. Nothing else but conveying it at this hotel, and it seems that they do this on purpose to keep you from being able to take it vantage of everything and all inclusive normally offers. Trying to get information or help from someone who should be a concierge is nonexistent. To experience good food you will have to go outside of the hotel. A taxi ride for the 1.5 miles into town is US$14 , both ways
