This was a stunning resort. From the moment you drive onto the property which is built into the side of a cliff, you feel transported to a different world. The staff are completely professional and so nice - a pleasure to speak to and actually seem interested in helping you! The food was phenomenal from every restaurant - not a single meal we were unhappy with. The room was beautiful with breathtaking views and the AC was powerful for the 107 degree heat! The pools weren’t crowded - there were always chairs and towels. If you want a treat, Sandos Finisterra is for you!

Easily accessible to the Marina and downtown area. Certain pool areas were nice enough to get the feeling that you were alone and away from the halabaloo at the adult pool.

I thought the property and staff were excellent for the most part. I booked three rooms and two of them were fine. The third was unacceptable. To begin with, it only had one bed (and a lousy little sleeper sofa with no linens provided). In addition, the air conditioning in that room did not work and the location of the room (1301) had zero ventilation in the hallway (sweltering). After multiple calls and visits to the front desk it appeared that the air conditioning was not going to be corrected. The two young men I had in that room had to share another of our two rooms. After being told that no other rooms were available that night, magically they were provided a suitable room at 0900 the next morning. I contacted them about a refund for that room for one night, but the hotel never gave me a response or made things right. My initial check in review was less than stellar and that got their attention, but only to ask me to make it sound better. On a positive note, the grounds are spectacular. The food is quite good, especially the Mexican restaurant. We very much enjoyed our time at the pools and the Fiesta Blanca on Wednesday night. The close proximity to the marina makes for an easy walk to boat tours, shopping and other dining options.
