Booked a room with a double bed and was unaware. They would not upgrade to a King bed without a $600 charge. Front desk check in man stated, “ you just book things and pay for them and don’t pay attention.” He Truly embarrassed me at the front desk. Limited dining options and times. Only a breakfast buffet and all other food must be served to you, so you sit and wait for service at the restaurants. You can’t stop for desserts or snacks, and we paid for all inclusive. It all has to be served to you with staff that seem to expect gratuity every time. Hotel was clean and pretty but probably won’t be back

We were not put in the room we booked. Had to be moved. We had to call for a gold cart to go anywhere on the property bc its so far from ANYTHING. They obviously expect tips multiple times per day. Restaurants close EARLY. Only 2 of the 9 they boast are inclusive and then you only have certain things you can order from the menu. You can not swim at resort. You have to taxi to public beach at your expense. In conclusion, YOU ARE NOT GETTING ALL INCLUSIVE!!!! Apparently, this is for all of Cabo. Make sure you realize this before you book.

I am formally filing a complaint regarding my recent stay at Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos, booked via Expedia. From the beginning, my experience was unacceptable. The resort was advertised as having 9 restaurants, but only 4 indoor air-conditioned restaurants were actually available. My first meal at La Cevicheria was ruined due to flies covering the dining area. La Moderata charged $30 per person per day, which was not disclosed beforehand. When I tried to clarify, manager Miryam responded rudely and told me to “look for another hotel.” Staff member Michelle raised her voice instead of providing help. Despite requesting to meet the top manager Anna, I was denied access and my written request for contact was ignored. Such behavior from management is unprofessional and shocking. The hotel’s location also adds extreme inconvenience: guests must walk 15 minutes from the main road, and Uber pickups are prohibited. This experience was not only disappointing but also damaging to the Grand Fiesta Americana brand. I expect: 1. A written apology from hotel management. 2. Compensation for the misrepresentation and the distress caused. 3. Corrective actions to prevent such treatment of future guests. If my concerns are ignored, I will share my experience with other travelers to ensure they are aware of the risks of staying at this property.

It is an old resort, do not expect anything luxurious. Lobby area has old furniture and turned us off a bit once we entered the resort. Super staff all around the property ready to serve guests. Restaurants serve good food (specifically Blu), but problem is that several restaurants are open to air, we had to eat food with one hand and repel the flies with other hand. We did not see any events at nights. I have better experience at Hyatt Ziva!

Loved the stay and hospitality from the staff. Food and service were incredible! We had the suite with panoramic ocean views which was beautiful! The only thing that was frustrating happened at check in; upon arriving we were greeted with a margarita followed by a timeshare sales pitch. While I know this push comes from corporate, we were exhausted from traveling and couldn’t wait to check in and unwind. Having two front desk push sales at you took away from a first good impression.

Lots of construction and updates. Very beautiful. We loved our room but the construction noise in the morning was not my favorite. Pools are so beautiful and everyone is so nice. Food was amazing. Only negative was all the pools close at 8pm and if you are by the fire pit you have to go to the 7th floor to get a drink from the only open bar. Not very convenient. The elevators are pretty slow. But all and all an amazing place with amazing staff. Would definitely stay again.

We booked this property from a referral. Prior to arriving I booked a dinner on the beach for our anniversary. At checkin we were immediatley asked to sit through a 90 min presentation and receive $160 resort credit and couples massage or room upgrade. We chose to do a room upgrade from our deluxe king ocean view to king ocean front. The upgraded room was not an upgrade. Room was smaller, older, and smelled. We called the front desk and they accomodated us back to our original room booked. This room was wonderful. After sitting through the presentation, deciding not to purchase, we were denied what was promised as our gift. Now they would only do $160 resort credit instead of credit and massage or room upgrade. Since we did not upgrade our room we chose massage. The moment we said no to purchasing my husband and I were rushed out of the timeshare office and told to go to lobby. No thank you, no let me take you back to the lobby, no hospitalility at all. Trying to get our certificate was even more of a hassle. Front desk sent us to timeshare office, time share office sent us to the lady who checked us in who now changed her story as to what we were promised. We ended up canceling our dinner reservation as we were not about to give the resort anymore of our money when they couldn't be honest with us. The servers, maids, and pool waiters were amazing. They deserve the high five. The management and timeshare sharks need a big kick. We will not return to this resort.

The staff at this hotel is amazing - particularly the servers at breakfast and the pools. Jose, Roberto, Cruz and more took great care of us. Room was immaculate, spa was a treat, and we love how you enter the lobby at the top floor and descend into the hotel. As frequent guests, we see the hotel getting older, but it is well cared for and the team was anxious to make sure we had a great stay.

My girlfriend and I have committed to making memories and this year, we decided on GRAND FIESTA AMERICANA Los Cabos. We enjoyed everything about our stay, made some great memories.
