The room was a mess with lights and AC shutting off every few minutes and a thermostat that only worked after constant resets. Only one trash can in the bathroom, no microwave, and a TV with no channels. You can hear the next room’s TV. Room service costs extra and drinking water is not delivered. You must fill bottles at fountains. Bars serve the cheapest alcohol. No food after 10 at night, no lobby snacks, and a 45 minute lunch line for pizza because one person runs the station. One small, half baked pizza per guest. The resort also treats non members like second class. Even hash browns at breakfast are members only. Special dinners and an exclusive beach restaurant also shut out regular guests. The buffet is poor with limited choices. Vegetarians will go hungry and chicken options are negligible. No cups at soup or drink stations. Marco Polo food is cold and bland. The Italian restaurant even served paella with stale seafood. The kids water park is far from the main pool and poorly maintained with so little water that kids cannot slide. No life jackets or floaties provided. Ice cream is a single cart that appears once at two in the afternoon with one flavor. Pool chairs are limited. Few staff speak English which makes communication hard. Entertainment is minimal with no pool volleyball and dull activities. Only one evening event and even that lacked forks and spoons. The pool depth of 4.6 meters can be unsafe for non swimmers. Avoid and spend your money elsewhere!

The room was clean, lots of pillows, but the beds are rock hard. The towels are clean, but thin and old. The staff was pleasant. Do not like being hounded by timeshare people, and do not like being treated like 2nd class people just because we aren't members. (for instance the type of alcohol we were given)

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the conduct of your employee Hugo, whose behavior was disrespectful, evasive, and completely unacceptable. Although the reservation was under my husband’s name, he had already notified the hotel by email authorizing me to check in. Despite this, Hugo spoke about me in a low tone, instructed Carla to charge me as a “walk-in,” and refused to address me directly, showing clear disinterest and a total lack of professionalism. When I presented the email for verification, he refused to even read it. His attitude was dismissive, unhelpful, and openly disrespectful. The most serious incident occurred when I asked for his name, as I could not see his badge. Hugo deliberately covered his name tag with his hand and refused to identify himself—an action that violates basic service protocol and undermines transparency. He then left to the office to avoid responsibility. This behavior is entirely incompatible with the standards any reputable hotel should uphold. I request to be informed of the corrective measures that will be taken, as this incident directly harms the image and credibility of your establishment. Also, I received at least 4 different messages in my phone and my door about the check out. If you want us to leave, you are NOT in the right business. If I leave late just apply the fee you didnt advise us in the check in instead of sending "leave the room at 11" meddages one day before so many times!

Check in was great. We upgraded to an ocean view for a very fair price. Pool is great. Beach is NOT swimmable for many people, but it was perfect for us. Food- You can only book 2 restaurants if staying 4 nights and 3 if staying 9 nights. First and second night were amazing. The MX restaurant was delicious. They had a fun outdoor dinner the second night that was fabulous. Marco Polo Italian was terrible, shoe leather pork and paella that was so dry and awful. The second two nights the buffet has almost no food. They had dry beed tacos with nothing else not cilantro, no onion, nada…weird. The snack bar made good food but was always out of guacamole and the pizza place was great wood fired pizza. We left and went out for dinner the last night because the buffet had such little food. Bars- great. Nice drinks and good service. Sports- Had tennis rackets and pickle ball to use. Basketball was available. Lights on the courts were inconsistent and we were told different hours every time we asked. The gym was nice, but again, hours were inconsistent. Shows- the shows on the app were not the shows that were happening. Sometimes there was no entertainment when a show was listed. Ages- charged 16 year old as adult, but gave kid bracelet? He was told he couldn’t use the gym even though he needed to train and paid for adult stay. Overall, this was a very lovely place. It was just inconsistent in some ways which was a little confusing. All in all, it was a good price for a fun stay.

The only thing it really seemed to be missing from other inclusive reports is you never knew what was going on what events were happening what activities they had for the day. Most all-inclusive places have more information. Overall the service and employees were excellent.
