Not bad but not a 4 star resort. Will likely try a different 4 star resort next time. The good: the staff were friendly and working hard (making up for a clear shortage!), grounds were nice, lovely pools and views of the beach with whales jumping everyday, drinks were tasty, breakfast buffet was decent. Everything was clean and plenty of space to lounge around the pools. The activities lead Sam worked hard to keep the energy and fun going. The not great: clearly understaffed, lining up for 20-30 minutes to wait for drinks and having limited service pool side (in 4 days being poolside we had servers come up maybe 1/day at most), waiting 20 minutes for a coffee, having to serve own wine at dinner because there was only one server. The food quality of the buffets was not good. The other dining options fill up very quickly (and are medium quality) and we tried to order room service but never had anyone answer after calling multiple times. Even the guacamole was not great sadly! Had some strange interactions w/ the client care staff, after sending a note to come see them for a gift, they asked me to fill out all my personal information again (done at check in) when I was confused and asked if they could get from check in (I wanted to join my party at the pool) they insisted they wouldn’t help me the rest of my stay if that was the case? But other times they were helpful, very confusing interactions, not ideal customer experience. We had a lovely stay but felt overpriced

horrible! will not return, broken elevators, water not drain in shower, door to room needed fixing. shortage of fresh towels, the food was so bad! no Mexican??!!! for 1 reservation at each hotel- could get more- but it was ok cause not good- the snack bar was horrible- food cold, same thing everyday. no food warmers. no beds on the beach- umbrellas or chairs. ran out of cups, ice, alcohol and the choices were very slim. spent too much on this trip to get this kind of service, food. bad. I do not recommend. they need a major update and overhaul these restaurants and menus!!

1. WiFi Access – No in-room WiFi; I could only connect outside, which was highly inconvenient. 2. Elevator Out of Service – The elevator was down the entire stay, making it especially difficult for my parents, who use canes and had heavy luggage. 3. Poor Food Quality – The food was subpar, forcing me to order from outside, which is unacceptable for a hotel with dining services. 4. Language Barrier – Staff did not speak English, making communication difficult. A hotel serving international guests should have English-speaking staff. 5. Air Conditioning Issues – The AC was not working. I requested maintenance twice, but no one came. 6. Room Mismatch – I booked an ocean-view room but was given a garden-view room instead. These issues made my stay frustrating, and I urge you to address them to improve guest experiences.

Thankfully we paid very little for this trip. There were 2 buffets to eat at, plus a hamburger/hotdog/fries place by the pool. All 3 other restaurants required reservations. Very little if any of the food had flavor, especially at the reservations-required places. Good luck finding someone to bring water or coffee to you at breakfast. No swimming at the beach, and half the pools were either members only or adults only. Swim-up bar was also awful as far as trying to get served, even though the whole resort was not crowded. Our room was freezing cold with sloppy housekeeping and there was a $20 charge to use room service. Still, a cheap week in Cabo in the sun was a good time! Just don't pay a lot to go here.

This was a beautiful resort and clean. We had such a fun time! Now for the negatives: the food is horrible. Breakfast was decent and the ala cart restaurants were ok. The Mexican restaurant was by far the best. If you have dietary restrictions, this would not be a good choice. The daily activities were ONLY listed on their website so you will need to download the app if you want to know what’s going on day or night. Lastly, front check in / check out team was hit or miss. Hugo from this team should not be in customer service. We would probably not return to this resort.

This is a lovely hotel with good amenities. We'd definitely stay here again. The staff are excellent, especially the housekeeping folks, and the place is very well maintained. The only down sides were that 2 of 3 elevators in our building were out of service, and the food at the buffets was almost always lukewarm at best. The 3 fine dining restaurants were all very good. The town of San Jose del Cabo is about ½ hour walk away on good sidewalks, and it's a very interesting town to walk around. There's a good coffee shop about a block from the hotel too, if you want decaf or something special that's not available onsite. The ocean has big waves, so it's not really swimmable, but we did see whales almost every day we were there!

We really enjoyed our time here. It was obvious that they were not finished with their upgrades, but that was ok. Overall the food was good. We could always find something to eat. Pools were great! Bar service needed some more workers for sure but I’m sure they are trying. Maybe add some more chairs-they were hard to come by-but we will definitely go back.
