I liked that our room was ready as soon as we arrived. I liked that the property provided different food choices for dinner. I didn't like that some of the food was not good or that there was maybe one or two choices for dinner and you had to make a reservation earlier in the day in person. This might have been because of hurricane Hillary, not sure.

We will NOT be back to the Krystal Grand. Horrible service, the room was disgusting and dirty, had to ask many times for it to be cleaned, the pool music sucked and was like elevator music, the food was horrible, and hardly any activities that you’d want to even join in on. Besides the staff at the front desk (who were helpful), Angel at Surfos pool bar, Ulleses at Ayami Japanese, the staff was not very friendly or helpful.

Food was ok. Drinks weren’t. Sewer smell throughout location. Noisy construction as well as next to a highway. Far away from main strip.

The hotel sits right on the Tourist Corridor, which is very noisy. On top of that, the mechanical systems were right by our room and unbelievably loud. Impossible to get a good night's sleep.

Great property...some deferred maintenance issues...but being right on the beach I know it takes a beating from the wind/salt water/sand/etc. Staff were all friendly and nice. Great restaurants on site to choose from...food and service was great in all of them. Lots of options to grab a drink all around the property as well. Pool-side staff was very friendly...but not the quickest. Might have been understaffed?? Check-in was EXTREMELY slow...not sure what was going on...but it almost felt like we didn't have a reservation and had to start over? Also was not given any materials or details about the property, or how it worked. I had to figure it all out on my own. I was in a special tower with VIP benefits. Most of those benefits were not explained to me so I missed out on some of the things I paid for.
