Great home - not so great neighbors
My daughters and I had a great time in Corolla! This home had everything we needed and was great location for heading to the beach. The home was clean, had PLENTY of towels and linen, stocked kitchen and even has plenty of books and family games to choose from. It took us about 35-40 minutes to get to Duck or kitty hawk where there is more things to do but we always enjoyed the ride.
We came after a big storm and the parking lot was flooded, along with our access to the beach but we found ways around it. Luckily where our parking spots were, there was no flooding. The only negative would be the neighbors. Not sure if they are permanent residents or long term renters but they made us feel very unwelcome.
We brought our dog (we paid the extra fees) and they left several notes every time we left the house about him. Saying he whines too much when left alone. We never left him alone for more than 2-3 hours at a time. I also woke up to a note one morning saying his footsteps were too loud. He is crated when we leave and when we are home he was out with us..I wasn’t sure what to do about his footsteps.. he’s a 35lb dog.. after the first night someone also started parking in the spots designated for the home we were staying in. The house itself was wonderful but I don’t think we would stay again due to the neighbors, unfortunately.

Perfectly located beautiful condo
This was perfect for a quick girls weekend away. Loved how close it is to the beach access, easy parking and a place to rinse off all the sand. The condo has an updated kitchen, roomy living room and good sized rooms with giant TVs. Beds were OK with the standard Vacasa sheets. There were tiny amenities in each bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, soap) as well as sponge/dish detergent/dishwasher powder and laundry powder in the kitchen. It's a pretty quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood with a grocery store less than a quarter mile away for all the things. We really loved it and already are planning on booking this same place for next summer. Note there wasn't a ton in the kitchen - we did have to buy salt & pepper, coffee filters (cone! #4) ziplock bags and small Tupperware containers for food storage. If you plan on cooking bring your spices / oils if you don't want to buy any while there. Only other small issue we had was the code for the door was incredibly long so it took a bit for us to get in and had to call for help. Thankfully we were able to get in after some trial and error. Oh and we never were able to memorize the lock code so one of us always had our phone out to read out the code while the other attended to the door. :D
