I absolutely love this resort! They have everything you need including entertainment, friendly staff, yummy food options and a beautiful view! I have to say the staff is the best part they go above and beyond! We had two wonderful people take care of us at the pool Angel and Uliseus (not sure of spelling). Bernardo at Pina Coloda was phenomenal everyone remembers you, your orders and had them ready at your table or chairs in minutes! This is by far my favorite resort in Cancun. Downside is people reserve chairs with towels very early in the morning but this time I saw staff coming around and taking them from the chairs if people were not there! So that was a pleasant change! The ocean is beautiful but the waves were a bit to rough for me! Overall a great resort and great people! Just big enough for me while not being too small or too big. I love it!

I liked the location of the property. It is close to beach. Food and beverage were good. Some staffs were not friendly. The level of service was dependent your amount of tips. There was a water leakage in the bathroom from one of the lights. Overall ok hotel with potential to improve in many areas.

We enjoyed our stay. Great drinks, amazing beach and water. Marcos provided excellent housekeeping, Ciro made perfect drinks and Ivan provided great food service. Cons: difficulty sleeping due to loud hallways at night without any security patrolling. Sushi bar staff acted as though I was invisible. Their service focused on the teens. I still never had any sushi after 5 days of trying.

Everything was perfect. We had been to Cancun one previous time and stayed at another resort which was ok but this one was so much better. The food was excellent. Service was normally very good. Needed to get chairs early to get around the big pool where we wanted to be as there were not a lot of them.

We absolutely loved this resort! The food was good, and the service was excellent. I was skeptical because of the reviews but boy was I pleasantly surprised. It was better than any of other resorts we have stayed at in Cancun. The beach was one of my favorite features of this resort. It was not rocky and was so close to the resort. The Omni does a great job of clearing the seaweed. We didn’t even realize there was seaweed until we walked on the beach and noticed the other resort beaches were covered in seaweed. One of our favorite restaurants was Pina Colada. The mushroom tacos were my top choice. We couldn’t get enough of the avocado and pico dip. Overall the resort gets a 10 out of 10 from us. I can’t wait to return to this resort in the future!

Omni was a little smaller than we expected, but still enjoyable. When looking over the apps, reviews and website it was clear staff would be masking and taking extra precautions but they wanted us to wear a mask outside, to our table, which was unnecessary. People are traveling to mask up in Cancun. It also didn’t make sense for the extra precautions when they re-used the cups we all drank out of after putting them in a soapy tub. The food over all was ok but our whole group got sick the 2nd day, and the day coming back. Everything is done by phone so make sure you have the wifi or service!

Regarding the plastic cups washing process We do have a special machine called monoclean (you can search for it in YouTube) which washes up the plastic cups inside-out with very hot water and after that they leave the plastic cups soaking in water with disinfectant for 1 minute; We are sorry to hear your friends got sick, checking the log book we don´t have any reports in regards to that.
