Bed was comfortable and staff was very accommodating. They always are willing to help. Food could be better for the price. The food is lacking a good selection and at La Paloma it is worst I’ve seen. Davinci is ok but served a very small meal when I ordered a limoncello fish. I mean the smallest meal I’ve ever seen. Again nice hotel but the food could be better for the price.

Tons of entertainment, good fun, just an awesome experience. Shoutout to Roberto from La Paloma - went way above and beyond. As did the sports and entertainment team. Only negative was that the pool water was a bit cold

We loved our stay here! What we loved most was the friendly staff. They call everyone 'family', I guess it's a culture thing but not sure. We were given a VIP welcome (taken to a room and offered drinks as they checked us in).The food was great with a lot of variety to choose from. The pools were clean and not crowded considering the high season. Now to crown it all was the NYE event to ring in the new year! There was nice music with dancers performing. Before midnight everyone was given a set of 12 grapes (I came to find out later what it meant:)). There was also a glass of champagne for everyone who wanted for the midnight toast. The only downside is that though our room was clean, it smelled a little of some dampness, which may have been from the running AC but not sure. Overall it was a great experience and we made friends that we were sad to part with. Would highly recommend.

We had a pleasant stay at the Wyndham Grand Cancun. The room was clean, spacious, and included a nice balcony. The hotel amenities were very good, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The kids especially enjoyed the teen center, along with the beach and pool. The only downside was the check-in process, which involved a time-share presentation and felt time-consuming. The food options were acceptable for our taste. The highlight of our stay was the small coffee café, which served excellent coffee and delicious treats definitely a favorite spot for us.

Check in: The check in process for us was horrible. For some reason our reservation was not found and then the person checking us in started talking to us about upgrading our room to an ocean view room even though we had already paid for an ocean view twin bed room on Expedia. Concierge checking us in acted like he was doing us a favor by providing an ocean view double bed room even though that is what we had reserved. Did not like check in process. Rooms: Rooms are clean and have most things you will need. Property: Overall it is clean, there are a lot of steps. Also, 17th floor is really the 5th floor. Restaurants/Food: Really disappointed in the food. There were barely any choices for local food for breakfast and dinner. La Vista has a smaller buffet for breakfast but good views. La Paloma has more choices. Taco shack was disappointing, barely any flavor. The sushi place is ok, but be mindful of cross contamination. Bar food was good for lunch, but slow service again. It was only worth making reservation for dinner at La Vista. Desserts had barely any flavor and very disappointing. Service: Hard to find serves at the pool and they were slow. Service at La Vista is probably the best. Location: Close to areas you can take an Uber for shopping. Going downtown takes about 30-40 minutes. Pools/Beach: Both are clean and decent, lots of steps to get to the beach. Activities: Not much here, have been to others that have many free activities during the day. Nightly acts were ok.

I understand the hotel going green but the room needed to be cleaned more often. The toilet wasn’t cleaned the whole week we were there. We arrived and there was hair and dust all around the toilet seat. Sand was all over the floor when we arrived. The buffet served the same food every single day no matter if it was breakfast or dinner. It is closed for lunch. 3 years ago this hotel was amazing, now it is just average. Disappointed in some of the visitors. I hate to throw out the fact that they are blatantly Racist, but why visit Mexico if you are going to be Racist and make it known. Karaoke night, a white family from Virginia insulted Mexicans to their faces with the comments before the song and the song choice. A family from England started a fight with a couple. Also do people not understand that all inclusive does not include tips? The workers are busting their butts and not given any tips. If this happened in the US people would be complaining. Needless to say, we will be staying elsewhere next time.

Good, but just okay overall experience We checked in around 7:00 p.m., and unfortunately the check-in process lacked clarity. Very little information was provided about what was included (or not included) in our all-inclusive package. Because of this, my group and I had to explore the resort on our own to figure out what amenities, restaurants, and services were available to us. It wasn’t until the third day that someone from guest services approached us with a keychain as a “welcome gift,” though it quickly became clear this interaction was primarily a sales pitch for tour packages rather than genuine guest orientation. When it comes to the staff, the experience was mixed. Some team members were naturally warm, friendly, and accommodating, which we truly appreciated. Others, however, seemed to assess whether or not a tip would be given before deciding how attentive or engaging they would be, which took away from the all-inclusive experience. The food, on the other hand, was a strong highlight of our stay. La Paloma and La Vista were both very enjoyable, but Da Vinci truly stood out. We had an exceptional dining experience there, largely thanks to our waiter, Alexis. From the very beginning of the evening, his service was impeccable. He was attentive, professional, and genuinely invested in ensuring we had a memorable dinner. His enthusiasm and care made a noticeable difference and elevated the entire experience.
