A wonderful experience - The best Resort in Cancun

Pros: (+) Design, Agenda, Staff, Beach The Resort Master Plan is so well conceived. Built to bring you a 5 star experience (By the way Im an Architect)
Cons: (-) Updating Facilities, Food (Improvement opportunities), Restaurants Even the hotel is very well maintained it might require an update soon.
Location: Do not miss: Chichen Itza, Isla Mujeres, Coco Bongo.
Our overall experience with Iberostar was outstanding. It was wonderful from the very beginning. We were kindly received by the bell boy from the lobby entrance. So we just need to care about the luggage back in our room. Once we got in, we were fantastically attended by Tessa. She was the best concierge ever. She took nice facts about us and the motivation for this trip, during our conversation, that were used after to spoil us at the resort restaurants and so on. Once we completed the check-in (I did the web check-in, but something missed in the loop) we land on the room. Immediately we started enjoying the hotel fantastic facilities, spending one of our best vacations ever. This resort embraces so much more things to do than you will ever need in a 7 days vacation plan. The beautiful beach (just around the corner), the huge, diverse and fun pools for all family members (babies, kids, teens, adults, seniors). An agenda full, and I mean it, full of things to do by everybody all day long. Sports, relax, fun, art, party. What ever motivates you to have a good time, you will find it a Iberostar Cancun. In addition the staff in all hotel areas were so kind and willing to bring you the best possible stay in every way. From Yolanda in charge of the room cleaning, passing by towel guy Dario. Also Yarelis the best coordinating the Kids Club, up to our new mexican friends from the entertainment staff: Zaira, Humberto, Manuel, David. The experience was absolutely delightful.

Not so great all inclusive resort.

The food was not very good and was always cold by the time you received it. The alcohol did taste very odd and made both of us feel sick after drinking. The resort itself is in great shape but overall was not a great experience. When trying to relax on the beach or by the pool, staff would come up yelling and bothering you about events coming up that they want you to participate in. When we asked, one of the employees said they received incentives for getting people to participate. We will not be staying here again.

What a nice place to stay....

Pros: Everything
Cons: The French and Mexican restaurants were not quite up to par. Not bad but not what I expected.
Location: Never left...
I can't say anything bad about our stay. The entertainment staff was great and so was the waiters.

Relaxing and easy for a golfer!

Pros: Views, golf, fitness center
Cons: new/ improved beds/ mattresses. Make sure EVERYTHING in the room works! Including the IRON and BLOW DRYER!
Location: Golf, walk the beach.
The staff was very kind and made the stay enjoyable. As a golfer...I could not have asked for a better set-up. I could walk to the course and the hotel 'golf rate' was VERY affordable! It allowed me to budget two rounds instead of just one! The course too was in great shape and well maintained! The hotel room was clean although the king sized bed (mattress) was on its last leg! The hotel room TV (Picture) went our on day two...so I called the front desk, and within minutes, someone was there to fix it. The next day the same thing happened...the TV picture went out! So I went to the front desk and personally told the counter person (who took some notes) The blow dryer only worked when you held the button down...and it only produced cold air. The highlights for our room were the views of the ocean and pool area and the daily maid service! (our room maid was creative and thoughtful...everyday!) I have stayed at other 'all-inclusive' hotels...and others offered food at pool side...this one did not and during my first three days...I rarely saw anyone asking me if I wanted a drink. Only the last day, was I approached several times. We would stay here again...but in all honesty I would say this is a

Best kids club teachers!

We just returned from a week at the iberostar. Overall amazing experience. Our kids fell in love with the kids club and looked forward to it everyday and wished it started even earlier than 10. The food at the buffet was good and the food at the restaurants was even better. Loved the steakhouse so make a reservation as early as you can even before your trip. The counselors at the kids club were top notch and we were blown away by their level of energy and engagement with the kids.

Nice hotel right on the beach.

Excellent service. Food buffet was ok but the Japanese and steak restaurants were excellent. Staff very friendly. Entertainment shows were ok not great. Alcoholic drinks were watered down. But I would definitely return.

Excellent Hotel!

Pros: Food, staff and able to stay and use amenities and facilities all day even on the day we checked out late.
Cons: None
Location: It is close to the public beach with the Cancun sign. Close to the airport, one of the first hotels from the airport in the hotel zone.
We love everything about our stay in Iberostar Cancun, from check-in to check-out, we were treated beyond our expectations! It was our first time staying at an all inclusive resort and our first time in cancun, and so far, we were so happy and impressed that we want to keep going back. First of all, they upgraded us free of charge to a villa, which was more quiet, no need to use elevators and we have a pool in front of our room! and we were closer to the beach also! the resort has a lot of activities for kids and families and all ages! the room service/housekeeping was always checking on us if we needed anything from towels, waters etc. The food...buffet restaurant was always good and they have different options everyday and every meal! We loved the Steakhouse and the Hibachi restaurant as well. The only restaurant we did not get to try was the french restaurant since we have a toddler with us, they're only for adults. The drinks were good also, from the lobby area to the beach area. We also had beer, soda and juice stocked everyday in our room. The staff are very attentive and very helpful with anything you need or ask, even from tips how to get around the city and how to use the city bus and where to go if you want to check out downtown. Our flight on our last day is later that evening at 7 pm, so our shuttle won't be picking us up until 3 pm. They offered us lat check-out with $10/hour extra after 12 noon, and was able to eat lunch and snacks. We love Iberostar!

Fantastic for Honeymooners

Location: Great location, prox. to the airport. Far enough away from party zone to the north but close enough to go shopping. Golf course in great shape as well
My Wife and I stayed at the Iberostar Cancun from Oct 10-14. It was a blend of perfect timing and price point for us. We ended up booking last minute, as I saw a price change from Travelocity. We arrived, and got the exact room we booked, and although we arrived early, we were still able to partake in the All-Inclusive benefits from the moment that we arrived. The staff was fantastic, and was always very helpful. Please make sure to tip the staff as they worked tirelessly to ensure all the patrons satisfaction. Part of the reason that we enjoyed our stay at Iberostar was the fact that although the place was very busy, the size of the property never allowed for you to feel as if you didn't have room to roam, and therefore never crowded. Beaches were amazing, pool and pool bar were great and all in all, the food was very good, considering the amount of people that they're serving. Really enjoyed my stay and will be coming back.

We had an excellent vacation at Iberostar.

Pros: The entire resort was beautiful and well maintained.
Cons: We reserved a king bed and got two full beds. Too lazy to change rooms.
Location: Would not recommend booking jet ski's at Iberostar Parisio. We had to be gone the whole day and then the rest of the week they were available nearby.
The resort is 200 minutes from the airport. Iberostar is a gorgeous resort. The beach is beautiful with crystal blue water and fun waves to play in. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas, not crowded at all. The pools were great, clean and plenty of chairs and umbrellas for all. Angel, from the entertainment staff was outstanding and fun. There was plenty of activities: beach volleyball, water polo, soccer, rifle shooting, pool games, etc. The shows were good some nights and great other nights. The rock n roll show was awesome. We ate at all four restaurants: Grommet was French, the Japanese was great with hibachi, fun and entertaining, the Steakhouse was delicious and beautiful inside and the Mexican was down by the water. The food and margarita's were to die for. We were a party of 8 and all the rooms were great. The rooms were cleaned each morning and always had a towel animal or fresh flowers on bed. Room service was great, we only used it once, but the kids used it every day. We are definately go again next year.
