We booked a master suite with ocean view. It was a nice room overlooking the pool and had a full ocean view. We didn't like the fact that it had 7 stairs that you had to go down to get to the balcony. There was no handrail, so we were quite concerned about falling.
The staff were all very friendly and courteous. Bernardo at the pool bar was excellent.
There is only one pool at the resort and it only has maybe 24 loungers around it. People would put towels on the loungers quite early in the morning to reserve them. There are more loungers at the beach. It was easier to get a spot there.
There are two ala carte restaurants. You can only reserve them the day before or day of before 2pm. They are also each closed two days a week. This was a bit frustrating as we were only able to get into each once during our 7 day stay.
The resort has a lot of steps everywhere. From getting into the front entrance and everywhere outside. Some are quite steep and not all have handrails. There are handicap ramps but they are also quite steep and slanted. I would not recommend this resort to the elderly or handicapped.
They are currently under renovation. There was constant noise all day from the construction and sometimes as late as 7pm.
The lobby lounge doesn't open until 6pm. There are no shows in the evening however they have music and or karaoke starting at 9pm.
I realize that we were there in what is considered off season. It could be different when busier.
