Pros: Very nice, clean, beach front hotel. The rooms are very nice and the suites are gorgeous with jacuzzi and terrace.
Cons: The food was not outstanding. American style buffets.

Wonderful vacation hotel

Pros: The hotel was wonderful with an excellent Italian restaurant.
Cons: I should have made the reservations thru another travel provider...NOT Travelocity
The hotel was wonderful. A beautiful place and wonderful staff. The problem was with Travelocity! Before we left I had read about extra fees for the "athletic facilities". Travelocity sent a note back that I could expect an answer in 48 hrs. They sent a response 10 days later on the last day of our vacation. I highly recommend making your reservation directly thru the hotel or thru another travel provider. I do not intend to use Travelocity again.

All-inclusive Resort

For this time of year, we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Excellent! Staff were all pleasant. Loved the coffee :) ... Beds are comfortable ... Food was great. Only advice: plan accordingly by deciding what you'd like to experience before hand.

Beautiful, now and always!

Pros: Its location right on the water, and the large showers with rainwater shower heads make it a true paradise!
Cons: This might sound basic, but please, bring back the delicious chicken sandwiches at the cafe! While everything else is great, I missed those!
This was a fantastic experience; three times in a row! The staff was amazing, ever-accommodating to the gluten allergy of my fiance, the room impeccable, and the restaurants delicious! And, poolside bar service was prompt!

Best hotel stay ever!!

We stayed at Grand Park Royal Cancun Caribe for 6 days at the Royal tower it was an amazing experience the staff was very helpful and very nice our concierge was Jaime and he as such a sweetheart very respectful and attentive person. Abdel at the lobby greet us and showed us around the hotel, very energetic and nice person. The food is very delicious and the variety at the restaurants was incredible. Overall we totally recommend the hotel to anybody that would like to have amazing vacations in Cancun.

Nice hotel with great view of the ocean.

Pros: Location, view, beach, food, staff
Cons: Beds could be softer, more garbage cans in public areas.
Location: Great location. We did a couple day trips, swam with the turtles, swam in a cenote, and day trip to Isla Mujeres.
This was a family vacation. Two seniors, two girls in their 20's, and my husband and I. We did pay for the upgrade, and it was well worth it. Room was right on the beach, second floor. Excellent view! All the staff was friendly and went out of their way to make us welcome. Claudia at the front desk was great. We were greeted by the bartender, while checking in, with a cool refreshing beverage. So many staff were very friendly, I can't remember all the names. We did not have any construction noise. The showers were always hot enough. The pool is cool, but when it is 80-90 degrees, that is refreshing. We did not see a lot of garbage on the beach. The food was wonderful, from the buffet to the restaurants. Fresh, local food. Never had a bad meal. We stayed 9 days and no one was tired of the food. The rooftop bar is the place to be at sunset and the bartender there is great. There is activities throughout the day, we enjoyed them. I highly recommend Gran Park Royal Cancun Caribe!

Beautiful views and rooms with exceptional service

Pros: I adored the Suite, staff, and views. We were completely blown away about how gorgeous the rooms were and the pool was accessible through our backyard
Cons: We were given access to premium liquor with the upgrade. Only one bar in the resort has prem liquor. That was very inconvenient.
Location: Everything is close by: Cocobongo, mall, restaurants, etc.
This hotel was gorgeous. We were offered an upgrade to the Royal Tower Suite which included a gorgeous room with a jacuzzi, a butler, exclusive access to the cabanas on the beach, and much more for an exceptional price which we accepted. Our butler was supposed to make reservations for us but t is easier to make the reservation on your own because it is a bit difficult to reach her. The exclusive access to the cabanas aren't exclusive as green band members use it as well and no one regulates the cabanas to ensure exclusive access. After our upgrade, we were given a tour of the facilities by Davy who mentioned that we would be meeting him at 9:30AM tomorrow for more info reg excursions and discounts. In the AM, he took us to meet Jorge who was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Our first intimate breakfast together at this resort was joined by Jorge which disappointed us. He explained about vacation club packages which we were neither interested in or could afford. This was expressed to him. He asked that we keep an open mind which we did because of his wonderful personality. We spoke to Alberto who left a horrible impression on us. He was pushy and rude when we rejected the package. He asked us why go through the presentation if we were not going to buy the package. His attitude was upsetting as the first 4 hours of our morning was wasted. Buffet food and alcoholic drinks need a lot of work. We upgraded to premium liquor but only one bar has it. Another waste.

Great experience!! I would stay at this hotel again, it was convenient and close to punta cancun. The staff was very nice and professional! The food was ok and was a bit inconvenient that the restaurants there at the hotel were always booked unable to make reservations... We weren't to happy about that, therefore did not eat at any of the 3 restaurants at the resort we did only buffet!

A Great New Years

Pros: The rooms and food were great, the morning and evening buffet was exception with not just the food but the service.
Cons: The NYE party should have had a DJ as well as the Band. Could have used more modern dancing songs and not just 70's music.
Location: Not far from the airport about 20 minutes without traffic, took a bit longer because of the Holiday traffic only.
The Staff, Hotel, Food was beyond exceptional in making my family (4) feel the warmth of the people and country. On the onset of entry into the Hotel people like Darwin and Mario at the front desk could not be any more accommodating or nicer in every aspect. The bar staff, the waiters, the grounds crew made sure any questions from directions to places to visit were extremely helpful. The maids cleaning the rooms were early and made sure everything was ready when we returned to our rooms. Over all was more than I expected and will make sure to book for next year for the same time frame.

Love Rock, a 6-meter-high (20-foot) promontory and popular wedding site, divides the Cancun resort's beach frontage into a 100-meter (109-yard) segment and a 69-meter (75-yard) segment.
