Great resort on the beach

Our room looked out to the beach. We could see the sun rise. The food at the Cocay Lounge was fantastic. The pools and the beach were amazing. We took a snorkeling excursion and it was a lot of fun (Aqua World Jungle Tour). I would stay here again with no hesitation!

Worst experience ever

This was the worst experience I have ever encountered. I upgraded my room for 240 solely becAuse we would have a butler on call and a bigger space but my butler was off the next day and only seen her twice in 5days. The food was disgusting and very disappointing. I would not recommend this place especially if you don't speak Spanish. Was treated very unfairly.

Good hotel

Pros: I have no complaints location is very central. Very clean. Nice to have a choice of 2 pools a quiet one and a more active one. The coffee shop is a +
Cons: PLease stop hounding people to sign up for a time share/membership. The music by he pool is the same every day and old fashioned..
Location: Great location close to the hotel zone at the point the mall the shops etc
We enjoyed 10 days at this hotel. Everyone was very nice and helpful. From the staff we had a great pool waitress Alicia. Very pleasant and seemed to enjoy her job running around all day. Rolando at the buffet was a great waiter. The worst part of the trip was spending almost 6 hrs with the people from royal holidays who wouldn’t take no for an answer to their membership offers.

Very nice hotel nice view of the beach.

Pros: I liked the location and the staff made me feel at home. I loved the way they keep the buffet clean changing serving spoons and the plates they sit on
Cons: The bed was a little to hard for me may need to add a pillow top that would have made it 5 stars for me.
Location: Both directions you find shopping and food.
The hotel is in a nice location they treat you right when your first come through the door, The food was good they do have people who try to sell time shares but if you tell them no they leave you alone. I liked the expedia desk in the hotel to book your tours and transfers to the airport if needed. I enjoyed my stay and I would stay at this hotel again.

Great service, but disappointed with Dinner

Pros: It is beautiful
Cons: More dinner option for families with kids.
We had great service all around the hotel. Staff was always with big smile. The hostess from the buffet restaurant, Manuela, was awesome. She would always call my baby girl by name and she loved that. They also had some musicians that would come and play on the tables and they were great. The only thing we were not happy about it was that we could not make dinner reservations because the other restaurants dont accept kids younger than 12 years old.

Nearby Activities

Love Rock, a 6-meter-high (20-foot) promontory and popular wedding site, divides the Cancun resort's beach frontage into a 100-meter (109-yard) segment and a 69-meter (75-yard) segment. Although all Cancún beaches are open to the public, Love Rock at one end and a bluff at the other make it difficult for outsiders to access the shorter stretch, effectively creating a tranquil "private" beach furnished with thatched-roof palapas, sun loungers, and beach towels for resort guests.
