We were locked out of our room prior to our check out time. When we went to the front desk to gain access they told me the card I had used to pay for room service the night before had not worked. Told me I needed to pay with a different card or cash. I looked at my account and the charge was pending - so I gave them a different card and they ran the charge a second time. We went and gathered our things and came back to check out. Now the first charge had cleared, so I showed the employee the charge on my account - she now told me it would take two weeks to reverse.

We were landing late and wanted a place close to the airport to sty one night before beginning our adventure. The communication about when and where to meet the shuttle was a little bit bumpy, but we eventually found each other. The hotel was lovely, great service, nicely landscaped, private pool, and a great breakfast. There was a late dinner option which we really appreciated as well.

I went to the bar after my husband had had a drink there and ask for two plastic forks and knives and they charged me $1. Said cause we didn’t eat there. Bed was uncomfortable and the lights were difficult to work. Hot tub wasn’t working and was cold. Shouldn’t advertise it if it’s broken. People were mostly nice.

Lovely room, very clean. Shower never got hot, but at least it wasn't freezing cold! We especially appreciated the help setting up our airport transfers, and also our supper in the dining room was excellent. We did not get his name, but our waiter was very attentive and kind, recommending our meals and helping us learn a bit more Spanish. All greatly appreciated!
