Staff was great. However it does state on Expedia that if you book this hotel you get a $130 credit towards tours (which is why I chose this hotel). However, when we checked in, they stated they no longer offered that. When I reached out to Expedia, they opened up a case, but then closed the case because they said they couldn't reach anyone. So the issue was not solved but it should be known (at minimum) to not expect the $130 credit.

Excellent accommodations at the northwestern end of the French Quarter. Walkable to many of the famous/well-known New Orleans restaurants like Arnaud's, Galatoire's, Mr. B's, GW Fins. Had a spacious single King suite -- clean, comfortable. The only annoyance was that in order to get to your room, you have to go up one elevator to the second floor, then walk across the lobby to get to another elevator which will take you up to your floor. On the other hand, this makes the hotel a bit more secure from random ground-floor foot traffic. One other issue, which is not the hotel's fault, is that when ordering an Uber, you have to go to the front of the Ritz Carlton to get your ride -- the Uber app doesn't seem to allow you to designate the Courtyard entrance on Iberville as a pickup spot (at least, I wasn't able to figure out how to do it). But these are minor annoyances, and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
