Business

Pros: The staff, ambiance, outside courtyard
Cons: Maybe a tub I the rooms
Location: I attended a conference at the convention center, but I was able to walk through the Riverwalk to get there.
The staff was so derail, from the valet to the housekeeping staff, all were very polite and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. I will definitely make this my regular hotel for business and pleasure. I am an early riser, one morning at 4:30 am, I was I the lobby looking for coffee. There was no coffee to be found so I asked the front desk where I could find coffee at this time besides the coffee in the rom as I had already had all of the coffee. He took my cuup and offered to get me a cup out of the employee kitchen. Really, who does that!!! Awesome.

Staff and cleanliness

Most of the staff is not friendly at all. One day the room was not cleaned so when the cleaning lady came over per my call, she had an attitude. To top it all, overall is not a super clean four star hotel. Bad breakfast not worth $26

Great location

Dirty room, random brown spots on the carpet and couch. The hallway was in disrepair with it needing some drywall and fresh coat of paint. First room I was given, smelled like smoke so I had to ask to be moved. Hotel is overpriced for the quailty, I would not stay here again.

Halloween weekend

Pros: location
Cons: service and management
Hotel was booked for the Halloween weekend and staff seemed overwhelmed. I had 3 rooms reserved and supposedly adjoining. We ended up with 2 across from each other and one on a separate floor. Unfortunately, the one on a different floor resulted in my 6 year old nephew not being able to be easily watched by his older cousins. I had asked to speak with hotel management to accomadate my party, but never received a call in addition, they claimed my SPG membership indicated that I didn't need my room cleaned daily (who would do this) and as a result didn't get clean towels or have my room cleaned on one of the days. The restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner during our stay and coffee was hit or miss at the bar.

Very nice Hotel

Pros: Staff and location
Cons: make sure the ice machines work.
Location: Lots of restaurants to eat at. Casino is right across the street. Everything is in walking distance.
Room was very beautiful and comfortable. Staff was always nice and we were able to plan things through the concierge. Lots of resuarants and places to see close. Only issue we had was the ice machine on our floor was broken and we kept having to call room service to get ice.

Make sure you have a room on a higher floor.

Pros: The Hotel is Beautiful and a great place to hang out and lounge with friends.
Cons: The Hotel Service, I think some staff love their job, but others could care less.
Location: Lots of things to do nearby. Everything is walking distance from the hotel.
The Hotel is nice. The check-in staff are friendly and helpful. However, if I would have know that the pool areas has blasting, loud music on Saturdays I would have a had asked for a room on a higher floor. I mean blasting to point that all you can hear is the base in your room. The pool is on the 4th floor and my room was on the 7th floor. I called the Hotel staff to complain, in hopes they offer another room. I was told that not to worry that the pool party will end at 7pm. I suffered from ear ache and a head ache. The rest of the Hotel, staff, was not helpful. The bartender in the lounge did not like to be bothered unless, you are planning to buy lots of drinks. The room was dirty, the 1st night I took off the covers, I saw that it had yellow stains on one for the covers.

It's location is wobderful, right by casino.

The room was nice, but the walls were so thin I could hear EVERYTIME someone got ice which was over 15 feet from our door. You could hear EVERY time someone down the hall came in. The cafe charged me $24 for 1 crassant!

Great Hotel central to tourist spots

Pros: Everyone was friendly and very helpful
Cons: The pool area could've been bigger. Larger pool.
Location: Close to trolley shopping, bourbon street, French Quarters Casino, Restaurants
When I arrive to hotel with my I was please to see how friendly the staff was. I arrived early and my room wasn't ready but the young man at the desk took my number and called me when it was ready. They also recommend somewhere to get local food which was very great. While having lunch he called to let me know that the room was ready. Room service was great and so was house keeping service.
