Teníamos mucha expectativa de este lugar. Nos recibió en la recepción a las 11 pm una señora muy antipática, le pedimos ayuda de conseguir una leche para mi bebé q venía muy cansado y su respuesta fue q la pidiera por room service pero q me llegaría en una hora y media. Es una respuesta muy decepcionante cuando tienes un bebé cansado, sabiendo q en un hotel conseguir un vaso de leche ni puede ser un misterio. Habitaciones pequeñas, no se puede guardar mucho en closets, un día sacando los niños de la tina la íbamos a desocupar y se salió toda el agua de la coladera y olía horrible y no nos cambiaron el cuarto. No recomiendo ir con niños menores a 5 años porq no los dejan subir a ninguna actividad de los parques. Me pareció muy regular la experiencia para pagar todo ese dinero.

We loved everything! At the airport they have a lounge right outside the airport. We were greeted with warm hospitality and was able to start the check in process while we waited for their newer comfortable bus that transported us to resort. When we arrived at the beautiful Xcaret Mexico we were greeted with homemade chocolate popsicles and a cool washcloth. We fortunately stayed in Fuego and had an escort take us to our private check in. Check in was simple and we were shown to our rooms where our luggage had already arrived. The butler was busy so we took the opportunity to unwind in the swim up pool. The butlers were attentive and ensured that we had reservations for dinner, Xei Ha park and the catamaran tour. We tried various restaurants. Our favorite was Cuervos a cave with a Brazilian restaurant flair and beautiful live jazz music. Fuego was also one of our favorites. The food was amazing and the service impeccable. Our favorite park by far was Xplor. Zip lining and the water rides were so much fun. The juice bar and restaurant food was very good.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. One thing of note, concierge exists to sell to you. Do not look to concierge for much actual assistance. Hotel is noisy with how the hallways are constructed to echo. With all that said, most amazing hotel I have ever stayed at. Pictures do not do it justice.

Bait and switch as soon as you arrive, asked to sign up for sales tour for vacation club. Tell you anything to get you in door. Then don’t give what was promised. Takes longer than promised. Buffet not as flavorful as other resorts. If looking to do the parks may want to look into a day pass and stay elsewhere . rather than paying for xcaret and getting the parks included. Very disorganized. Told we didn’t need to make reservations for restaurants but then upon arriving we were told we needed reservations. Xplor park was great, even better at night. Ambience for resort not as nice as others we have been to (common areas, lobby bar, pool areas)
