We had a blast here with our group, celebrating a wedding. The disco is fun and the pools have great energy. But the resort is in need of a facelift and the food was not good. Even when we paid for a nicer meal, it was inedible.

The outside property is beautiful and well kept. The rooms were clean but had a sewer smell constantly. We booked a swim up suite with a king bed and we received two double beds pushed together. Our swim up was nice but the water loungers and stairs could use new tiles or a good scrubbing. The loungers had algae growing between cracks. The buffet was always clean and staff were great and attentive to our needs. The quality of the food could be better. I felt the meat tasted like meat glue and the dessert wasn’t good at all. This resort had a beautiful property but most likely won’t be staying here again.

This property is absolutely gorgeous and large. There are so many swimming pools and lounge chairs. The swim out rooms are fantastic. The only downside being the food wasn’t all fantastic, some of the al a Cartes were not worth your time (aka the Miso Oriental Thai) and overall things are just starting to get old and run down in places BUT they are starting renovations in May so that will soon change. Some staff were excellent, others seemed inconvenienced to provide service. All in all it was great value for the money and I would recommend it/go there again in the future.

Our family enjoyed the resort immensely, especially with our three young children. Upon arrival, we received a welcome gift of pirate and beach toys. The availability of strollers and stroller cars was a significant convenience. The food selection was excellent, and the quality was superb. The staff were friendly and readily approachable. However, the children's club fell short of expectations, requiring parental supervision between 12 pm and 3 pm and offering limited activities. This lack of independent childcare significantly impacted our experience, as other resorts we've visited provided superior children's club services. The evening shows, however, were exceptional and of the highest caliber. Therefore, we recommend this resort only to families who wish to spend all their time with their children. Otherwise, it was an excellent experience.

My boyfriend and I loved the stay, the room was amazing and clean, the pools are fun, the area and the staff. We had a lot of fun. However there are 3 things that took one star: the hot tub in the room was broken (the motor wasn’t working) and I complained to the reception and no solution was made; and the sales of the Royal Holiday, which was pushy and sticky to be honest. Many negative reviews on the internet about that plan. We found it weird that the resort allow that activity inside the hotel. We lost 2h with the sales agents trying to push that contract and plan. Finally, my boyfriend injured his head in the pool and I was afraid of a concussion or even if he’d need stitches. The staff only put a simple bandage on his head, and I had to buy things to clean and avoid infection for him, the hotel didn’t provide enough medical assistance, nor checked on us after the incident. If it wasn’t for another guest who worked in the medical field, to advise me what product to buy to treat him, we would t know what to do.

the best way to describe this trip was unfulfilled and underwhelming. My expectations were quite met and it felt slightly false advertised. Maybe it was just my bad luck coming on a windy weekend and not being able to do any of the included water activities. But the service was slight slow, drinks were sometimes hard to get, room service never answered the phone and the food was very, not great. Feels like more of a facade of paradise than actually greatness itself. The lady i was given to Whatsapp message to help me find activities to do or help in general, nightly texted my drunk, and dint quite help me too much. It all felt cut short and with only what i can find, 1 bar or 2 open late, and other bars closing what felt around 6. My friends and I were also really excited for the supposed Archery offered but came to find out it’s closed, mind you the water activities were closed, no real events were really going on. We did do one excursion offered from a gentlemen at the resort, booked it, and stayed our pick up was at the Yucatán stop. We get to the stop and security had to intervene because supposedly us at Rivera or sunset are not allowed at that stop.. Almost making us not able to go to our excursion, again, booked with the resort, until we convinced it wasn’t our doing/ fault.
