This house was absolutely perfect for our family during our stay. It was a great location to get to downtown Gatlinburg but also excellent to skirt around it to go to Pigeon Forge or into the national park. It was pristine, beautiful, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Definitely be aware of locking car doors even when loading up! We enjoyed a very close brush with nature when a bear family came visiting and helped themselves to some snacks in our van while we were getting ready to travel home! All in all, you won’t regret staying at Rob and Erin’s cabin one bit!

Quiet cabin near town

This is a lovely getaway to enjoy while visiting the Great Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, or Pigeon Forge. It is just a short drive into Gatlinburg. This cabin had everything we needed and our family enjoyed our time here. It was very quiet and felt like a hillside retreat. The outdoor decks off of each level were a great place to relax and watch the wildlife!

Perfect location

This cabin’s location is ideal, close to the main drag in Gatlinburg but is tucked away in a quiet, private location. No neighbors, no noise. The cabin is large with good sized bedrooms and with 3.5 bathrooms we had plenty of space. The owners were easy to work with. Would stay there again.

Great Stay

Wonderful cabin if you are looking to stay in- great location to get out and do things too! The hosts thought of everything to keep us comfortable including extra heaters, and plenty of comfortable bedding and extra blankets! We really appreciated the provided supplies to get us going and were able to have groceries delivered. Also, greatly appreciated minimal checkout chores.

Fabulous Thanksgiving trip

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin. Everything was exactly as listed. The location is fantastic. You can get to Gatlinburg in just minutes, it is also a short drive to Ober Mountain and you can cross the mountain to get to the bypass and be in Pigeon Forge very quickly. We cooked an amazing Thanksgiving dinner while there. The kitchen was perfect for cooking. And, the snacks and coffee pods were a very gracious gift. We will definitely stay here again.

Excellent Family Getaway

Whispering Canyon was the perfect location for our family vacation. Rob and Erin are thoughtful and welcoming hosts, as they provided everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The amenities were outstanding on each level, and the location is perfect. Although just a few minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and the park entrance, you feel quite secluded with its quiet and peaceful mountainside location. The decks are large, contain comfortable furniture and a hot tub to relax and chill. The outdoor firepit table and lower-level game room were perfect hangout locations. The hosts were in regular contact to ensure that the cabin met our expectations. The welcome basket with various snacks and goodies was a simple yet appreciated touch. We loved the cabin, would highly recommend it and hope to come back soon. Thanks Rob and Erin!

Great Location with Mountain Feel 10 min from city

Clean, beautiful cabin with attention to detail and everything we needed for a great Smokies getaway. They weren’t kidding about the bear trail… we had a visit at least once a day by one of the local bears walking through the front parking area, which we saw on our trail cam. Driveway is very steep but our SUV had no problems with jt. We would stay again! Thanks

Beautiful cabin

Location, location, location! This beautiful cabin is not only secluded and up in the mountains, but is convenient to downtown Gatlinburg! The pictures don’t do justice to how nice this cabin is and how peaceful the location is. The hosts contacted us in timely manner on things. Just a great overall experience and plan to stay here again!

Ultimate Comfort

My friend group enjoyed every minute in this spacious and well-appointed cabin. We were a quick drive away from Gatlinburg attractions and the national park, but the cabin feels tucked away and remote. The views are spectacular, and the cabin was roomy and comfortable. Nothing but praise for this vacation rental. Highly recommend!

Great long weekend getaway

We needed a place that was easily accessible for our geographically dispersed family (Dallas, St Louis and Charlotte) and chose the Smoky Mountains as a quick getaway for our daughter's fall break. This could not have been more perfect. Beautiful hiking trails were easily accessible and the home was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. It was very conducive to lots of game playing and just hanging out with each other. We would not hesitate to come back again. Hosts were SO great at communication every step of the way.

Wonderful!

The cabin was great and everything we needed and wanted for our first vacation with a baby! All the kitchen supplies we needed, bedrooms on separate floors, great living room and TVs, comfortable beds, nice hot tub and everything was clean. The solid pizza place around the corner, quick access to the Park without going through gatlinburg, and quiet patio made it perfect.

Most amazing VRBO in Gatlinburg!!!

Our family has rented at least 8 very nice houses via VRBO in the Gatlinburg/ pigeon Forge over the last 3 years. This house superseded all of our exceptions with the decor and the amenities! The owner must be an interior decorator! The decks and view were gorgeous. The internet and cable are as a huge bonus for the family. Beds slept amazing! Pool table and lots of family games. The house was immaculate!!!! One of a kind!!!! We will be back again and will recommend to all my friends!

Amazing Cabin

We have 3 boys so entertaining them on vacation is tricky. The hot tub and playing pool were amazing. The cabin has 3 levels so everyone had plenty of space. The cabin was in a perfect location to downtown and the trails. The cabin had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our trip!

Perfectly secluded mountain getaway

Whispering Canyon was the perfect choice for our family vacation! The property was very welcoming, clean, and stocked with basic essentials. Our group ranged in ages 2-72, we felt safe and secure the entire 4-night stay. The location is remarkable with easy access to Gatlinburg, Great Smokey Mountain National Park, and Pigeon Forge. It is easy to navigate to if you follow the hosts’ directions, expect a very short drive up the single lane winding roadway and driveway. The cabin layout worked very well for our three families, plenty of separation and privacy on all three levels. The only drawback is the lack of the majestic mountain-side views that you may find with other properties, but the wooded area offered a nice, quiet, and peaceful atmosphere (especially with your morning coffee or evening libation). We loved it, absolutely recommend it, and hope to return someday soon. Thank you HostedByRobin!
