"Nice hotel within walking distance to shops"
On arrival, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little dated but the room was very nice and clean. It was surprisingly large with a full size bathroom with sink inside the bathroom. There was an additional sink outside the bathroom which was very handy for two people getting ready at the same time. Other amenities included a balcony overlooking the river, a fireplace and newer bedspreads and curtains. Housekeeping done a great job servicing our room each day.

Wonderful and relaxing stay with Honeymoon Hills! My wife and I just relaxed and enjoyed the surroundings. Jeanie & Lauren (staff) were great to assist with late check-in and the cabin was great. My wife will try to do this more often. Thank you

"Great resort out of the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg just wish it had a restaurant"
Thus is our second stay here and we enjoyed both times there. I was not impressed with the standard room after staying in the deluxe room previously. The deluxe was larger, had a fireplace and screened porch overlooking the rear lawn. I would definitely stay in the deluxe again on my next trip and I recommend the top level as it is quieter too. The staff was friendly and helpful as always and everything was very neat and clean. The indoor pool and spa are clean and inviting. I also think just as before, that the resort should be gated with security like many other luxury resorts. The wifi internet not being free and pay by day was not expected. I actually played a couple of rounds of golf at their world class course, but be warned that it is not for beginners like me. The course was nice and well maintained and the staff was helpful. I was not particularly fond of having to watch for cars as they meander through the course to each homes on the back side. All in all, it is a great place as it is since nothing is perfect, but a few small improvements would be nice. Thanks Bent Creek !

"A little out of date, but very clean"
We enjoyed our stay at Brookside Resort the week after Christmas. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. The rooms need a little updating to replace old bulky furniture with new more modern design. We would recommend to our friends and we will stay there again.

"This Hotel Is A Good Value "
This hotel was located in walking proximity to most attractions in town. The room was clean, but it felt a bit bland. The door frame looked like it had been previously damaged at some point in the past and was a little bit difficult to open and close. Otherwise, the stay was just fine. I'd come back, especially considering the fair rate I paid for the room.

    Gatlinburg Hotel & Travel Guide

Gatlinburg's Smoky Mountains backdrop offers up the natural beauty of eastern Tennessee as a complementary pairing to the city's busy downtown packed with entertainment options. You can stay in hotels in Gatlinburg or hotels near Gatlinburg to be within easy distance of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, while also having the amenities of a city and its thriving nightlife.

    Out and About in Gatlinburg

Gatlinburg resorts offer year-round entertainment, with a focus on winter snow sports and water park fun. In the city, Ober Gatlinburg's Skiing and Sky Tram rides, along with the Wild Bear Falls Indoor Waterpark (the South's largest), are the two biggest attractions. If you love theme parks, check out neighboring Pigeon Forge, which features Dollywood, an easy drive from Gatlinburg hotels. To add in outdoor fun, take in the beautiful scenery of the Smokies at the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, look for wildlife at Cade's Cove, or ride the rapids on Big Pigeon River. Mini golf games, several Ripley's museums, and the Arts and Crafts Loop are additional highlights in Gatlinburg.

    Eating and Drinking

Hearty, Southern fare is the best way to describe the local cuisine. However, you will find there is a sampling of everything, including national chain restaurants. In the mornings, you'll be delighted to devour mountainous piles of flapjacks perfect for fueling up before a hike, bike, or trek through theme parks. Breakfast is definitely the most important meal of the day here, judging by the number of restaurants devoted to perfecting the art of flapjack flipping. Delight in finding a tea house, German cuisine, and steak houses to keep your dining experiences eclectic, and opt for restaurants with outdoor seating so you can pair your meal with a gorgeous view.
