This was our second time here and the first time was an awesome experience all the way around. This time was not as good but I’d be willing to stay here again when we return. Get the bad out of the way first. The room was not upkept in the sense of housekeeping didn’t do a very good job cleaning for our arrival. There was a dark dirt/soot on the floor that tracked everywhere. So it needed to be mopped. During the Friday and Saturday service of the room, our house keeper didn’t replace dirty towels and when they made our bed, it looked like a 6 year old did it. There was no effort put in. I brought this up to management (Sam) and they made it right on the back end but it’s still frustrating during the stay. Now the good: the breakfast options are a plenty and it’s very good/above average for hotel breakfast. The property amenities with the hot tub and pool are clean and well kept. The sitting area out back by the creekside is very nice and relaxing. Outside of our particular room and the lack of housekeeping effort, this is a very good option within short walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg and all that has to offer.

Room was very clean. Our handicap room was very roomy and gave my husband plenty of room to manage his wheel chair. Beds could have been more comfortable and there was no shower chair or bench, even though I did ask about it at the front desk. Staff was friendly and helpful.
