This comfortably designed 2-story log cabin is conducive to relaxation and experiencing Smoky Mountain living at its best. From the rustic hardwood floors, open beam ceilings and stone fireplaces, you'll feel like you've stepped into a wilderness wonderland. The Main floor of the cabin is warm and inviting. This is where you will find the loft which features a Queen size bed! The Master Suite is below the Main Floor of the cabin accessed by an enclosed staircase. The Master Suite is it's own space. Just outside of the Master Suite is the lower back deck where you will find our luxurious Hot Tub. We spared no expense and it is fantastic!! Enjoy a home-cooked meal in the fully equipped kitchen with dining area, or snuggle up with a good book in front of the fireplace-there are two of them! When you're not hiking in the hills or taking advantage of the nearby shopping in Gatlinburg, engage in a friendly game of pool or enjoy the Arcade! We have the highest quality sit down Arcade that money can buy. It features a 25” LED screen, tempered glass top, lighted trackballs, awesome sound, and LED lights. Unwind on one of the two decks or indulge in a nice long soak in the Spa Crest Duke 601 outdoor hot tub. We spared no expense, and this Hot Tub features a lounger! The master suite features a king-sized bed, an oversized Jacuzzi tub and fireplace. This 'High Haven' retreat is less than 5 minutes from the heart of Gatlinburg and entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Guests have full access to the 3 separate Chalet Village Clubhouses where summer time swimming and tennis are available. High Haven cabin is located at light number #10 off Ski Mountain Road and less than 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. No need to worry about parking; our driveway is nearly level and accessible throughout the year - there's enough room to park 2 cars side by side. Additionally, the terrain around our cabin is safe enough for the kids to explore under supervision. We are sure whether you are with family, friends or newly married, that High Haven Cabin will become your home away from home. Beautiful layout. The cabin was very clean. We enjoyed the privacy of the hot tub and listening to the birds. Great location! Just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and great views. We plan to stay here again in the future.

Location and privacy

Good location, other cabins around but plenty of privacy. Amenities were good, plenty to do while we were at the cabin. Close enough to everything for when we weren't. Roads to the cabin are a little steep and narrow but no issues, just take your time. Overall a wonderful stay. Also plenty of wildlife around to be mindful of, just take that extra second to look around first.

This cabin is in a great location, I'm sure in 2018 when it opened it was great. Unfortunately, there are things that need replacing by now, and I'm not sure the owner cares. I did send an email with no response. I'm writing this because if I were looking for a place to stay, I would want to know these things ahead of time. #1 thing that bothered me were the toilet seats. They are wooden and scratched up, which honestly is a sanitary issue at this point. They were gross. This is a cheap fix. One blind was broken, and all looked like the original blinds installed, dusty and in need of replacing. One of the screens to the sliding door was off track and not easily moved. I did let the owner know this upon arrival so we were not held responsible, got no response at all, a simple, thanks for letting me know would have been nice.Pillows in the master were super hard, and the bedding had been washed in scented detergent, I'm very sensitive to fragrances, it was hard to sleep. No tissue anywhere. Lighting was very dark, it was cloudy so it made it hard to see in the cabin. Description on VRBO says hardwood floors, we did not see any. Got the check in email the day before we arrived and there were a few suprises. It said towels were provided for showers but if you needed extra for the jacuzzi, bring your own. Coffee maker provided, but bring your own filters. (really?) We were on the last weekend of a 2 week vacation, too late to bring extra towels. Would not stay again.

Lovely place, great location.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The property owner was great to talk with and concerned about our needs. He gave us great information about the area. This home has a great location, close to town, and far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Rustic cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at High Haven. It feels so secluded but only minutes from the action. If you’re looking for high end, modern this is not your place. If you are looking for a real cabin feel like we were this is just the ticket! We saw a mama bear and three tiny cubs leaving the cabin. May have been the highlight of our visit!

Loved this cabin

We absolutely loved this cabin. Everything was as listed, clean, and location was perfect. The hot tub was in working condition and HOT! Which was nice. The heat was not working in the cabin but the host was gracious enough to offer us a refund due to not being able to get it fixed during our stay. We had to leave the cabin early but we definitely plan to stay here again. Owner was easy to work with and communication was excellent.

Perfect Getaway near Gatlinburg

This was a perfect place for us to rest & play over New Years! Everything we wanted to see/do was nearby (10-30 min drive depending on traffic) - hiking in park, Gatlinburg shops, Dollywood and so much more! The host was great - texting with me on a holiday! Loved having 2 cozy fireplaces, clean hot tub, full kitchen and room to spread out!
