They are upgrading to Coast Hotels, so older reviews may not be valid. Good views of the working waterfront of North Van from the rooms. From the outside deck/ casual dining/ viewing deck the views are of downtown Vancouver including Canada Place- where the cruise ships dock, some of Stanley Park. This is where the Sea Bus goes across the water to downtown Vancouver. Good parking garage with rates you'd expect for a metropolitan city.

I recently had an excellent experience. The hotel was clean, which made my stay very comfortable. The ocean view from my room was breathtaking, adding to the overall enjoyment of my visit. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to be helpful, ensuring I had everything I needed. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning!

We loved how the market was right downstairs. Lots of amazing food and shopping options close by. The view from our room was amazing. It was suppose to have a balcony, it was a big window door(which didn't lock) with a rail, no foot space. Made me nervous for my 4yr old to open during the night and go over the railing. So we stacked a wagon of stuff infront to eliminate that option. The doors to the rooms didnt have locks/chain on the inside. So our son could easily open the door out to the hallway. So we stacked suit cases infront of the door at night. The hotel is not kid friendly in our opinion. There was dust on the bedside lamps. The box spring on one of the beds was broken and the beds moved around very easily. The beds were not comfy, pillows were lumpy.

Overall, a pretty underwhelming hotel — blasé staff, rooms that feel stuck a decade behind and in need of real updating. I was there for a conference over the 4th of July weekend and the prices were outrageous, more like New Year’s Eve in Manhattan than a middling chain hotel. For what they charged, you’d expect some energy or effort: attentive service, refreshed rooms, at least a bit of polish. Instead, it felt like they were coasting on the holiday demand. The whole experience came off as a cash grab — a complete rip-off.

Great property and a phenomenal location! You can jump on the Seabus in 5 minutes from your room. The room was a little dated and had some wear, but was clean, quiet, and the staff was super friendly and helpful! Would stay again with out hesitation!

The hotel sits on top of a food hall and European style layout. The transit terminal is adjacent to the hotel. So many options around eating and shopping densely surrounding the property.

For the price this hotel is NOT worth it. The patios had old dirty plastic furniture, the flower beds had last years dead plants in them. The furniture in the rooms was old and warn out. Upon check in we had to produce receipts from 6 months ago when we booked our stay to prove that we had paid otherwise the front desk wanted us to pay again. The breakfast room had 3 tables, coffee and tea and a basket of store bought granola bars. We would not stay here again.

Lovely place to stay - easy commute to down down for work . I’ll probably choose the north shore over downtown Vancouver next time I’m there for work . Con: Mattresses are way too soft - felt like they are from IKEA - just one giant piece of foam, and felt like i was in a human sized hot dog bun, and I woke up with very sore hips and back as a result, but that’s my only complaint.
