Riu palace exceeded my expectations in most areas. Loved the service. Landscape shows and food. What I did not like was the bathroom being exposed. If I got up earlier than my husband I had no choice but to disturb him when I used the faucet to wash up. The thermostat in room was broken room was always too cold. I paid for a room with ocean view it was obstructed. The Manager did offer to change my room the next day. Did not care for the buffet. Food could be improved. Sit down dinners were great. Desserts could be better. Lacked flavor and freshness. The staff were wonderful. Blanket in room needs to be upgraded. Very thin. Thank you to the team in Krystal’s restaurant who made me feel special on my birthday. Wonderful hardworking friendly staff! Otherwise, very enjoyable stay. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay at the Riu Hotel. The resort was very well maintained and exceptionally clean throughout our visit. The food selection and quality were excellent, with a wide variety of options available at both the buffet and the specialty restaurants. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure guests were comfortable. There was also a great selection of bars, making it easy to grab a drink and relax anywhere on the property. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely return. Highly recommended!

Riu’s never disappoint. The service is amazing, and the staff is always friendly. The beach was very nice and cleaned of grass daily. Our family enjoyed all the pool activities.

This was our first all inclusive hotel experience and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The hotel is beautiful. Check in was easy and even though we were early they got us checked in and gave us our bands that show us as guests of the hotel so we could immediately take advantage of the amenities. The room was wonderful. Very clean, well taken care of. The shower is huge and has a frosted glass enclosure. The layout is good. We had the two doubles with a pull-out sofa. Our room was already set up with the pull-out set up and ready. As for food options, we never got bored of the food. For breakfast there's 1 main restaurant, that's buffet style with plenty of options (also open for lunch and dinner). For lunch, there's 4 options (2 buffet style), and for dinner there's 6 options. There's an Italian, Japanese, Mexican, and a seafood style restaurants. The pools are nice and the center of the activities. The activity staff are awesome and do a great job. Definitely join in. All of the staff are very friendly and I really appreciated their work. Without them and how great they were the stay wouldn't have been as awesome. It is walking distance to Quinta Avenida (save the taxi fare). But as you walk there, there's some Mayan ruins you can walk around and see. Every night they have themed shows and activities that are fun and entertaining. We definitely enjoyed it and they earned the 5 stars I gave them.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was exceptionally kind and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. The property is clean and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Its location near 5th Avenue made it easy to explore shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The food was excellent and diversified, with something delicious for every taste. We truly enjoyed our time here and would gladly come back.
