We stayed for 1 night and unfortunately there was a hockey tournament staying as well. I've stayed in all the Bells Corners hotels while visiting family over the years and I have NEVER had such an awful experience with hockey tournament guests before (or the inaction of the hotel staff). We were placed on the 2nd floor and pre-teen boys were permitted to run up and down the hallway, yelling, and slamming doors until 1am. We called the front desk a couple of times who said they'd "send up security", at which point the noise would stop for a few minutes and then resume (presumably after the "security" left). I won't spend time here complaining about the selfish and ignorant parents who permitted such behaviour from their kids in a public hotel space, but I'll focus on the hotel itself. Hyatt, I'm not sure it takes that much to PLAN for these events and STOP placing regular guests on the same floor as hockey tournament families. Or, have "security" (or someone) posted on the floors permanently for the evening hours to ensure this behaviour doesn't happen. I realize it's all about the money and packing as many people in as you can, no matter what rooms are available, but you've lost a member here and with our friends and family who also choose Hyatt. It's an insult to have had to pay what I did for the pleasure of little sleep and alot of disturbance.
