This hotel is in MAJOR need of a renovation! Room ambience reeked of the 1980’s and was totally unaccommodating to the needs of guests. There was absolutely no place (drawers) to unpack any clothing…I for one despise living out of a suitcase if I’m in one location for a week! The closet hanging space was at best 18” and the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen in any Hyatt. I am a Passport/World of Hyatt member since 1989 so I have experienced Hyatts all over the world! Get your act together Toronto!

The staff were all so helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean. Bathroom was small. The king size bed was really comfortable as was the firm pillow. The hotel is located near many places that are easily within walking distance.

A quick weekend getaway, perfect location, wonderful breakfast and service. Parking on site made it easy. Rooms small but comfortable. Pool on roof nice addition on our hot day.

We had a great stay with our 8 month old son. The staff was extremely friendly, and we were able to check in early and they brought a crib to our room. We loved the pool and the closeness to amenities, but when we got into our room, the carpet was dirty, a pillowcase was stained, and a used face cloth in the shower.

The staff was friendly and personable. The pool was not well maintained, the pool water was more like a hot tub, no shade areas near the pool to rest, no bar area for drinks. The bed mattresses were extremely soft and behind the bed rest was so filthy. The view from our room were condos and there was construction therefore it was very noisy. We only stayed one night so we didn’t make a complaint because we were too tired to change rooms however we would not return to the hotel.

Staying for at the Hyatt, for what amounted to less than 24 hours, I was very disappointed that I had to pay $40.00 for parking, which is far more expensive than the lot parking in Toronto, and that a continental breakfast was not included in our stay there; very disappointing on both fronts. Those are issues between Expedia and the Hyatt Regency, and as a paying client I do not want to hear it from front desk staff as an excuse as to why those things are included in my stay, especially when I paid as much as I did for my very brief stay there. I will be sure to share this disappointment with both family and friends.
