The Retreat at Clutter Falls Guesthouse es una cabaña acogedora y privada estilo cabaña adyacente a una casa de vacaciones más grande (Ver VRBO # 4970330), Retreat at Clutter Falls - Main House. La casa de huéspedes tiene capacidad para 2-4 personas cómodamente. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama queen con topper de espuma viscoelástica y escritorio de estudio con acceso Wifi gratuito. El salón tiene un televisor de pantalla plana de 42 'de alta definición y reproductor de DVD. Great place, not a private hot tub

A hot tub dedicated to this unit does not make it a private hot tub. As is the case with this property. The other hot tub for the main house is about 30-40 feet away, with the main house right behind that. Great setting where it is, even though we chose not to use it due to the location of the main house. Great little place to stay, just wish people would be more accurate with the listings. Also, probably not a good idea to have the sprinklers going at 9:30am when we are loading to leave by 10am check out. No way to the vehicle without getting wet.

They only complaint I have is sharing a driveway with the main house. Someone blocked us in and with the driveway being curvy and dark we were having trouble getting out and there’s a very low lying branch that put a huge dent in my husband top of his truck.

Pics accurate/written description not so much

For the most part, we were very pleased with this property. Word to the wise: use the photos as an accurate description of what is truly available. The written description indicated that a full kitchen was available (stove, etc…) no, an outdoor grill…no (unless there was one under cover down in the very messy and scary leafy abyss under the stairs/porch), a washing machine/laundry area…no. All of this might have been available at the “main house” but not in the “guest house” where we stayed. We came prepared to use the kitchen area, but we are good at improvising and that’s just what we did, and it didn’t faze us much; however, if you have kiddos or are intentionally trying to cut expenses, don’t rely on a full kitchen. Also, only enough cutlery for two. All in all, this was a great property. We enjoyed the hot tub, the view, and the proximity to Gruene. Great, clean space.

Nice little house, don't plan on cooking much there.

It's a great little house. Fun reading nook under the stairs for kids. It's perfect for a couple or a family of 4 as long as you don't plan on cooking there. Very minimal kitchen and utensils. The location is great. It's a long walk to Gruene but doable. We drove mostly. Nice view of the river.

Wonderful home in a beautiful location. Very comfortable bed and living room sofas. Having the mini kitchen w/ a refrigerator was the icing on the cake. Minutes from Gruene, Texas that has amazing shopping, dining, music, and river tubing. And oh my goodness...Deer everywhere to stop and see!

Hill zcountry vacation

Property was exactly as advertised. Beautiful guest house, very clean and cozy. We enjoyed seeing the deer and fox in the woods. Hot tub is situated nicely overlooking the river. Great stay!

Overall serene place; convenient location.

This garage apartment met our needs for a short weekend stay. The response was very good when needed. Just a couple of small issues we faced around the entry using the code system but thankful they had another way to enter. Any longer than a long weekend stay would be tough bc there isn’t a full kitchen or a large fridge. Like the hottub overlooking the river. Kids enjoyed that. Also liked proximity to Gruene Hall and the Guadalupe River.

Enjoyed the stay

We really enjoyed the guest house, it was nicely built out and very comfortable. The tiny little hangout under the stairs is a cute touch especially for anyone with little ones. The view looking over the river and surrounding area was very pretty, especially in the early morning hours. The main house is/was unoccupied during our stay so having the property to ourself was a pleasant surprise. The neighborhood is tucked away and quite quiet which is also a bonus. We did get in the hot tub once, but it started sporadically changing settings or turning off on it's own so there may be some electrical issues that need to be addressed. It made us leery about using it again incase there was a short (this could be very serious, please have a professional pool guy/ electrician look at it). Another suggestion is to have some of the trees around the driveway trimmed up for those with larger vehicles, especially where the guest house parking is. I have a truck and couldn't drive into the guest house parking spot without scratching the roof and side of my vehicle a bit. Not a huge deal to me, but others may not be too happy. Cars and smaller SUVs likely wouldn't have an issue. All in all my girlfriend and I would stay here again and not going to knock it for a little bit of overgrowth or the hottub acting up as those are easily remedied and just a heads up for the owner. 5/5

Charming Gruene getaway

We had a great stay at this property. The sunsets are divine and the hot tub was so relaxing. The garage apartment was clean and had everything we needed for a two night get away. The house is convenient to the cute town of Gruene, and also to New Braunfels. If we ever make our way back I'd happily book here again. If I could change one thing it'd be the mattress. It wasn't compatable with my back and gave me some lower back pain even though it seemed fairly comfortable. But that could be a me thing. Overall it was a great place.
