Staff was always very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and offered good vegetarian options. Bar was not well equipped for complex cocktails if that’s your thing and were highly overpriced. Rooms were nice enough but walls were thin and room could be very noisy from both inside the hotel and outside. Overall a nice place to stay and very centrally located for ease of getting around Manchester.

Some carpets need cleaning, some paint refresh is necessary. The linens, towels, product excellent. Room lighting could be better thought out. Good value for money. Breakfast could have a bit more variety and more healthier options, but was well-prepared and tasty.

The standard room was fine, the only thing was that the shower wasn't very clean. There was a lot of black build up in the shower head, which was off putting. However, for the price the rest of the room was fine. There also was only one working elevator so there was often a long wait for that.

A very cool, hip, well-designed industrial/deco space (with an excellent breakfast)… for avid travelers who like attention to detail, but don’t need to be coddled, or think «nice hotel» means a big chandelier and enormous reception desk. I’d definitely stay here again…

Pretty Decent Hotel Choice

This hotel is in a great location. You can access many local restaurants from the area and the tram is close by. Only issues we really had was that the room was a bit outdated. There were stains all over the floors. The shower was also inconsistent with being the right temp and then going to extremely hot. We were only there 2 days so not a big deal. The mattress also was extremely firm, so a topper would be nice… Overall the stay was good though. Staff were super friendly. Their breakfast was really good as well. I would stay here again

Excellent location in city center, by the Art Gallery. Very slow check-in (1 receptionist & very long queue, took about half an hour to get key despite online check-in). Overall nice building but strangely many things about the room design are odd: very low sink, short shower curtain which floods bathroom, writing desk with no suitable chair (only armchair), wardrobe split with a bar that crumples hanged clothes, tv placed at an odd angle not opposite bed...(the list goes on). That said, great breakfast.

Really nice hotel central to many amazing food and shopping options in Manchester. We actually ended up ordering room service and getting some drinks at the bar which was a great night and got to enjoy the bar hotel and people watching. Will stay again :)

Beautiful room. Clean and stylish

Friendly staff and suite was amazing. Very spacious. Just a shame the water/shower dripped at night and room above (206) was so loud. Tried to call downstairs 4 times to no answer. In the morning when I got through they were kind to give me a late check out due to disrupted sleep.
