This was our third time staying here. The good: staff was nice and luggage was handled well. I liked the pillows. The TV was advanced and had nice smooth feature for casting to it. The bad: This room was very small especially for the price. One of the two main elevators was broken and seems to have been for a while. The wait was frequently annoying and we walked up 6 flights multiple times. They were supposed to clean our room. They actually called and asked when they could but they never showed up during the large time slot we gave them which was most of the day til 8pm. They showed up at 9:45 pm to clean which is absurd. So no cleaning occurred, no fresh towels. The gym wasn’t very clean and was too small to accommodate everyone in there which was maybe 8 people. The breakfast was below average and very crowded. They were renovating the back of the lobby. It was not nearly as good as our two previous stays before 2020. I don’t plan to return on our next trip to London.

Very nice hotel! The outside is so London-ish which is what we were looking for. The staff was right there as we arrived to get luggage and guide us to the reception desk. Very easy check in. Rooms clean and ready on time. Hair dryer was great! Don't need to bring your own. Did not eat here. Wanted to experience other dining options in London. Picked this location because it was close to so many things that we could walk to and then take a bus to farther sites. Only negative was that we wanted to really immerse ourselves in London and though the outside in the Westminster area was that...inside the hotel was not that. Overall I would recommend this hotel. Great English Pub right around the corner!!!

Beautiful property and amenities. Staff were very courteous and helpful. The room was perfect and extremely comfortable. Loved the location in proximity of St James Park, Buckingham Palace and convenient, affordable eateries nearby. We loved Chez Antoinette and Bon Gusto. The hotel restaurants were very nice as well. Missing the little touches.

I was bitterly disappointed with the hotel as a whole - not the room or the upgrade. I sat in the court and was ignored by serving staff and being 4pm they did not have the coffee and cake option -only main courses?? I had to go outside the hotel for that. Two TVs in the room but unable to switch one on/off individually. The sink plug was not working so I had to scrabble below the sink to empty the basin. Not enough reception staff - always a queue. Wooden sticks do NOT replace teaspoons as they do not stir sugar into the coffee. The free water was a nice touch but I was unable to open the larger bottle due to the stiff stopper. The tablet in reception that I had to use to register was too high for me as I am only 5'3" and had to stand on tiptoes. The bed was comfortable but too many unwanted cushions..
