Worth every penny!

Pros: The location was perfect, clean and modern room. Decent view. Love the bathroom.
Cons: Microwave in every room please! And a laundry room for guests to do their own laundry.
My girlfriend and I booked this hotel for an 8 day vacation and absolutely loved it!. Check it was fine with a nice staff and the room was modern and clean. The bathroom had a frosted door but since it was just her and I, that is no problems. I can see it may be difficult for a family or something, but it's perfect for a couple. We loved the separate bathtub and shower too! The bed was comfortable and although our window was facing directly outside, we could see through the atrium and saw most of parliament across the window from our room. Also the window had 2 sets of curtains for privacy. The maids were efficient and quick also!

Ok if there's nothing else available

We had 2 rooms. One had 2 people the other had 3. There is not enough closet or drawer space for 2 people to put clothing let alone 3 people. The rooms are small and with the bathroom in the middle of the room separating the sitting are and bed area combined with the frosted glass door to the bathroom there really was no privacy. We Booked the hotel since we had 3 kids and it had a pool for some down time. It was during a busy time in the hotel and turned out We needed to reserve time at the pool to use the pool. Never heard of such a thing. kids never got to the pool. Only good thing about the hotel is the coffee shop in the lobby

I am disappointed that we did not manage to meet your expectations during your stay with us. I am pleased to see that you enjoyed our Illy coffee shop on the ground floor.

Good location but...

Good location and easy access to Westminster station. Room was very nice and bathroom had a wonderful shower. The only problem was at check-in. We booked what looked like a good rate for location, but was still a lot, and showed a picture of a nice room with a king size bed and the hotel site showed a view of Big Ben, but the room we booked was an inside room without a window. I did not expect to view Big Ben, but for as much as these rooms go for I thought we would have a window with some kind of city view. No. I did not see anywhere in my booking that it would be an inside room and be small. At check-in we were told we could upgrade for 50 pounds per night. This was just for a window, no view to speak of, just the street. Just be aware. This rate also did not include the breakfast.

Great location and great experience

Great location really close to London eye and Big Ben. I have only great comments for the hotel. The only issue I have is that it was really expensive compared to other options

Great Location

Pros: Location
Cons: This is the first hotel that I stayed at which did not have a clock in the room
Location: Close to Westminster Abby, Big Ben and walking distance to Buckingham Palance
I thought this was a great hotel...the location is just across the bridge from Parliament and close to 2 different Underground lines. The staff was helpful and answered my questions. The rooms were very nice. I would definitely stay their again

Nice hotel, terrible room

Pros: Great location and walking distance to Westminster Abbey, Palace, Big Ben and London Eye.
Cons: The front desk should only give handicap rooms to individuals that require and request it.
Location: Site seeing, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Westminster Palace and London Eye. Bars, restaurants and shopping.
I had a terrible experience and it was solely due to the fact that I was given a room for handicap. I did not request it and found it to be very impractical. The bathroom door was huge and I ran into it twice just trying to make my way to the bed. I tripped on the small ramp to the bathroom. The emergency strings got in the way. The shower was impossible to work with as I had to hold the shower handle with one hand and try shampoo my hair with just one hand. When I reached for one towel, the other towel fell on the string and set off the alarm which then prompted the front desk to call my room. I almost slipped in the bathroom as I rushed to pick up the phone because there is no shower door so water ran all over the bathroom floor. When I explained to the front desk what happened then housekeeping was knocking at my door. Needless to say, I am naked with a towel wrapped around me and I'm having to answer the door to explain again what happened. The button to reset the alarm is by the front door so I was finally able to shut if off. After a long day which began at 6am in Paris, catching the Eurostar train ride to London, dropping off my bags, taking the train to Brixton and back, getting a few sites in during my only day in London, all I wanted at the end of the day was to have a nice room to take a relaxing hot shower and sleep. That did not happen! The lighting was terrible too! The hotel is in a great location and is nice, but my room was absolutely horrible!
