The waitress wasn't very attentive and never let us know it was the end of her shift. We asked to see a dinner menu several times and finally got one. The check in clerks were excellent. Finding our way to terminal 3 was an adventure!

Stayed in a king family room, only negative was there wasn’t enough places to hang wet towels and no towel rail. We could hear no plane noise which was great soundproofing. It’s an easy 5/10 minute walk to terminal 2 where we had an evening meal at the fuller smith & turner / queens arms in the departure area as it had more choice for us and was cheaper than the hotel, would recommend.

Very good option after a long flight. Accessible directly through the car park adjacent to Terminal 2. We rolled off a ~20 hour trip from Australia righ to check in and were in the room in ten minutes, luggage still on the airport baggage trolley. The room was clean and functional, and the bed was very comfortable. Restaurant was quite good, both for a light supper and breakfast the next morning. Highly recommended. We will make this a feature of future trips to the uk.
