I have had a disappointing experience at the Ibis Budget London Heathrow Central. non-opening windows, no wardrobe, no complimentary water, and low-quality breakfast. Next time I will consider hotels like: Premier Inn Heathrow, Holiday Inn Heathrow, Hilton Garden Inn

Arrived at the hotel at a little after noon. Check in time was 3 PM. We were forced to wait in the lobby/restaurant for three hours. When I checked with service, I was told no matter how many rooms were clean. Check in time was 3 PM. I went to the counter again at 2:59 and was told the check-in time was 3 PM. Needless to say I was livid. There were clean rooms and yet we and a couple of dozen other people land around the lobby could not check in. No excuse for this. Second, thermostat didn’t work in the room room was hot. I told the people at the counter that my wife and I were more comfortable sleeping in the hallway where it was cool in our room. One of the young men came to check the thermostat. Reset it But during the entire night, the room dropped the temperature by 1° only. Very uncomfortable sleeping. An order of fries may be numbering three dozen cost 4 pounds. Translated to over five dollars for lousy order of fries. My wife’s tea cost over 4 pounds translating to over five dollars for a cup of hot tea. This is the last time I stay in this hotel.
