We got two rooms and both air condition stopped working and had to spent all night be awake in a hot summer night. Our reason to stay n relax in london got ruined bc of this.

Dear Lodi, Thank you for taking the time to review our property and for choosing to stay with us during your trip. We are sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant experience at the hotel due to the AC being faulty during your stay. We tried our best to make sure the engineers could repair it. However, we were only able to replace the part the next morning. We have coolers at the hotel now, if ever, this problem arises again. This is a one-off case and we have made every effort to ensure the air-conditioning facility works properly to avoid any unpleasant experiences. We will also be introducing new refurbishments in the coming months. We hope that you will give us another chance to make your stay with us, flawless. Thank you once again for your feedback.

I arrived around 3PM on a Saturday. I had flown from Japan, so I just wanted to take a shower and relax, only that was not possible, because there wasn't any hot water. I reported to the daily manager, who claimed he was working on it, but the next morning still no hot water to take shower. Also, the carpet in the room and the elevator was badly stain from spillages. Also, the shower smelled of mildew. The room window was cracked in half. The sink faucet sprayed water everywhere when turn on. Manager did nothing to offer another room of any form of compensation. The bed was the only good part to the room.

Hotel close to airport and tube

The hotel staff was great. This was my second time staying here in the past 2 weeks. The previous stay was great the upgraded my room and there were no problems. During This part of the trip they had some issues. The elevator did not work until the day I was as leaving. And on the second day they had to close the pool and jacuzzi because of some equipment failure. It was a little disappointing but for one morning I was free. The room was a bit crowded with a very comfortable queen size bed. I only slept there and was out early so that was fine. There are local restaurants, shops, markets and grocers and the tube within 3 min walking distance. For the price it was not bad if eveything is working. I would stay there again if I am visiting London.

Perfect Location on the outskirts of London

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: staff entering my room despite do not disturb sign
For my first trip to London, the Continental Hotel made my stay easy and enjoyable. The hotel is located just a skip to the subway station at hounslow central making travel to/from Heathrow easy as we as the daily train ride into the city. The area was quite being in the more rural outskirts of central london. I enjoyed walking around the smaller areas of Hounslow almost as much as central London itself for its small town feel and understated charm. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and the breakfast perfectly got me going in the mornings for a full day of sightseeing. As a woman traveling alone, I always felt safe and at ease in the area and would definitely enjoy staying there again. Like any hotel, there were its small difficulties, like the boiler going down and no hot water for a day, but these annoyances were sharply offset by the great area and atmosphere.

Continental Hotel

Hotel was fine good facilities. Food well prepared, Great gym. The sauna, steam roof and swimming pool facilities as part of the hotel guest facilities is great. Good transportation links several train ststions and bus depot in closeby...no ned to hire a vehicle

Would NOT stay here again

Not to standards, cover photo of room is deceiving. Help was ok, nothing to write home about. No mini-bar in room, no ice machines, no open windows, no view. Advantage room is close to Tube. Breakfast is ok continential, they have servers there policing you to inform you everyday that if you touch food to the left of the buffet you will be charged an additional 4 lbs. My suggestion, find another hotel, even looking across the street is a Days Inn which looked much nicer from the outside. But looks can be deceiving as I learned from this web-site.
