We were tired from a day of travel and just wanted to check in to our room. There was some problem with checking in (turns out they double booked our room). They gave us incorrect room assignment, then keys that didn’t work, then blamed us for the non working keys(!). They switched us to a different room and THOSE keys didn’t work. We asked three times at the desk for two extra pillows and finally they brought just one. On and on…the room was clean enough but it was a miserable experience.

The product in itself was good - the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the food was decent. The hotel was busy. The staff were pleasant and mean well, but not really efficient or knowledgeable of simple things such as the local buses (there’s a bus stop literally 100m from the hotel entrance).

Check in was horrible. There were about ten people at the front desk, none of which acknowledged any of us waiting to check in, as if we weren’t even standing there. It was late, we were tired, and it was about 8 mins before they said hi, three mins after I asked if I could check in. Front there it was pretty smooth. It’s a typical airport hotel, but the beds and rooms are totally acceptable! All in all, it was just the customer service during check in that was frustrating
