This hotel exceeded our expectations! It is absolutely beautiful. The location is great and in a very walkable area. It was close to attractions like Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye, Churchill War Rooms, & Big Ben. Their restaurant and bar served great food and a lovely breakfast buffet. Our room was a suite style with a bedroom, bathroom, and sitting room. The tub in the bathroom was a nice surprise! The beds were so comfortable and had great pillows (we are very particular about hotel pillows!). The staff gave us excellent service during our stay, especially the bartender in Equus who served us a late dinner two nights during our stay. When we return to London we will stay here again!

Nice stay in London.
Great location, easy walk to the Trafalgar Square, also easy walk to Underground. Our room was clean, well appointed and big enough to be comfortable.

Great location but a little tired.
The history in the hotel is amazing, as well as the view. We stayed in the River View Room, 612. The room was equipped with everything we needed. However the room itself is in need of refreshment. Curtain sheers are tattered, tabletops worn, bathroom shower tile/tub needs cleaning, loose floor tile in entrance. Room service forgot some things, also brought us some sweets we didn’t order. The concierge John, was a tremendous help and gave us a tour of some of the reception rooms.

The location on the Thames was terrific, it is close to many of the things we wanted to visit, to assorted restaurants, shops, and the underground. The staff was polite, considerate and accommodating. The food was excellent, and we recommend the tea. Highly recommend.

Perfect location for us. Beautiful hotel. The only complaint was that we had 3 guests in the room and the property did not offer many options for a third guest. We had a very, very small, uncomfortable rolling bed for a third adult which was disappointing as we paid extra for a third person.

The hotel is perfect in every respect. The rooms are comfortable, the grounds of the hotel are beautiful, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. The breakfast buffet was great as was the afternoon tea. The location of the hotel was also very convenient.

Fabulous property at the heart of it all, room was well appointed and very comfortable. A rollaway bed was already put in the room and I appreciated the fridge with a few goodies (although we booked with another room, and his fridge had wine beer and more goodies, still, the water and popcorn were appreciated) would highly recommend!
