We had a wonderful experience at the Royal Horseguards Hotel. The location is amazing, and the property is beautiful. Our "river view" room did not disappoint, with the best view of the London Eye from anywhere in the city. We were close to everything, so were able to pop back to the hotel for breaks during the day. The staff was also very nice and helpful.

The hotel is beautiful as it is also a historic building, the service of everyone was impeccable, helpful and so friendly. The rooms are very roomy and comfortable (we got a river view and what a view!), for the international travelers it has dual voltage outlets! It’s close by a lot of activities and landmarks and so easy to get a taxi, an uber or an uber boat! Right across the street by the embankment dock. I’d recommend it over and over for sure.

I’m a London native,we were visiting from Florida. It’s a beautiful, regal and historic hotel, in the very heart of London. Our room was extremely spacious, especially for London, and well appointed. The bathroom had a walk-in shower and a bathtub, it was luxurious, but very dated. However, it was all functional. There was plenty of wardrobe space, free wine when you arrive and the mini fridge is restocked with free soft drinks, water and snacks every day. We were also given free beer, although we swapped it for Cokes, since we don’t drink it! We tried their room service, which is 24hr, but the chef goes home at eleven, so there’s a limited menu after that time. The service is very slow, but the food was delicious! We also had the breakfast buffet as part of our room price, and it was excellent, it even includes mimosas and sparkling wine! In addition to full English breakfast, they had an extensive selection of Continental favorites and lovely fresh fruit. I also had the High Tea on my own one afternoon, but I was somewhat disappointed. The presentation was lovely, and the sandwiches were nice, but the scones were small and dry, and the pastries were unappetizing. I wouldn’t recommend it. We had dinner with family who live in London one night, and we enjoyed the food, we had a three course meal, and everyone liked most of it, with a few exceptions, so I would recommend the Twenty One Two Restaurant. Overall, it’s a very good choice.

Great hotel, staff and location. We had a beautiful view of the London Eye from our room. Only small downsides were the shower had small amounts of mold and we could hear traffic and trains through the windows, but no big deal at all.
