Everything about our stay with The Royal Horseguards was top-notch! Our view of the London Eye from our balcony was delightful, and our interactions with the staff was always very pleasant and helpful. The hotel's central location made it easy to walk to nearly all of our destinations, shops, restaurants, and the underground.

From the very moment of our arrival, all the staff were helpful and friendly. Perez, the head doorman, welcomed us and sincerely greeted us each day. His warmth and hospitality will remain the outstanding part of our visit to London. Our room faced the London Eye. The view of the garden was serene. The room and bathroom was large and spacious. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety and was delicious. We loved the location. The hotel was quiet but still near the iconic areas of London. We will definitely stay here again. If for no other reason…just to visit Perez.

The doorman was great but the desk staff are running a scam. They take 100 pounds security deposit on your card and don’t return it. If you ask for it back after 3 weeks they send you a cut and paste message saying they have returned it but they don’t. So don’t leave a security deposit on your card. If you have to stay there and they demand it give them a 100 pound note. Paint peeling in the bathroom and very average

First room very small, facing a brick wall…As it was a 3 day stay, next day—for an upgraded cost—was moved to a lovely room overlooking the Thames. Location could not be better. Quick walk to all the sights of Westminster, but far enough away to avoid crowds and noise. Quiet, nearly residential-seeming location as the back yard of the hotel is the Victoria Embankment Gardens. Staff was unfailingly friendly, kind and helpful. Room service meals were perfect. Highly recommend.
