Too many things went wrong with our stay.
1. Even though we had prechecked in, our room was not ready at 10:30 at night when we arrived.
2. There was a false fire alarm at 1:30 in the morning. The hotel can't be blamed for that.
3. But they can be blamed for the non-existent communication regarding the false alarm. I heard from another guest it was a false alarm, as they were coming back to their room. But with me calling 8 or 10 times to the front desk or 24 hour room service, not a single person answered the phone to confirm it was a false alarm.
4. The next day we asked to change rooms, which the staff helped us with. But the room they moved us to had no heater. Only blowing cold air all night. The first tech said he fixed it. But it continued to blow cold air. Later called again, and a different tech said it was fixed, but after a few minutes was blowing cold air again. So they got us a portable space heater. That helped.
5. It's a mixed bag. Not good for a supposed luxury hotel.
